("Latch Key Kids" by Bad Religion)

(Uh, yeah. I did not anticipate for the middle episodes of Season 4 to be so...uninteresting to write. I like watching the episodes but writing them has just been completely different—not to mention Hunter could just take down Kash anytime he wants but if I wrote that...what the hell am I going to do for the rest of the show? Same with another...thing...in the show, but I'll let y'all figure that out until it happens)

(Bear with me here, we'll get through season 4 and once Season 5 arrives...it'll be worth it. At least Season 4 isn't as boring to write as Season 2...that us my least favorite season)

(Alright—see y'all at the end of the chapter)

...

Hunter always felt the most comfortable at night, that was the time when everything was truly alive. While the other Campers sneakily ran cover to cover; Hunter had just shoved his hands into the pockets of his jacket and walked to their designation.

"Dude, why aren't you sneaking?!" Kenji whispered from behind a tree.

"Because there is no need to." Hunter bluntly said louder than Kenji as he leaned his shoulder against a tree to look at the compound Kash and Darius are in.

Brooklynn hid behind another tree while Kenji stood behind her.

"We still don't know what Kashs next move is or why he wants to control those Dino's." She said.

"Uh, I know why. The dudes a total psycho!" Kenji stated but then Hunter scoffed.

"It's very simple human behavior actually. Exploit the innocence of this world against its will and ultimately lead to it to deaths hands." Hunter harshly stated before taking one hand out of his pocket to grab one of his knives to spin. "It's like controlling a character in a game...why wouldn't you want to control your own dinosaur? Thats what every single human being wants: control."

Kenji rolls his eyes at Hunter. "Whatever—the longer Darius is with him, the more danger he's in...just like us being around Hunter." Kenji shot a glare at Hunter who had already turned around, making sure his spiked bracelets were on tight while staring at Kenji.

"If you got something to say it'll be your last words, pansy ass bitc—" Hunter took a step towards Kenji who leaned away before Brooklynn stood up in between the two boys, her eyes narrowed at Hunter.

"Just stop it!" She quietly yelled. "What has gotten into you lately, Hunter? You're more..." Brooklynn trailed off as she tried to think of a word.

"Intolerant towards ignorance, arrogance, and outright pathetic people?" Hunter gestured to Kenji to which everyone seemed to get awkward about since they all felt the hatred radiating off of Hunter.

"Just leave Kenji alone, it's not his fault—"

Hunter nearly laughed. "Not his fault? I've got a list of shit he's at fault for. One of the most recent and underrated ones is being such a shit sailor that we ended up on ANOTHER island filled with dinosaurs." Hunter continuously glanced at Kenji to make sure he was paying attention to everything he was saying.

"I'll admit that I'm glad I'm on this island because I'll be able to stop this whole operation but when I tried to get you kids home—"

Ben seemed offended by being called a kid. "Kids?"
