(One of my favorite songs from one of my top 5 favorite bands, as well as Hunters 2nd favorite band; I feel this song emulates Hunters forthright, succinct, abrupt, direct, no-nonsense, cut the bullshit attitude towards people he clearly does not like)

At the entrance of the compound in the jungle biome; the two now scarred Velociraptors slept peacefully on the ground whilst the Campers snuck around the treeline until sneaking towards the compound; as they were sneaking, Hunter reached out his hand in front of Kenji which scared the Campers behind Hunter and Brooklynn.

Not even a second later; a rope drops from above.

Darius leans over the railing above before one of the raptors had snorted in its sleep, briefly yawning before going right back to sleep.

Darius signals them that the rope is secure and ready for them to climb; Kenji of course climbs up first since he is so scared of the Raptors. Then Ben climbed, then Sammy (with the reassurance of Yasmina); Hunter and Brooklynn were the last ones.

Hunter had his back to the rope with his arms crossed as he patiently stared at the Raptors, he made sure Brooklynn went up before he did but she had missed the rope with her hand as she kept staring at the Raptors, she had then went into a panic as she spirals down the rope just above Hunters head.

But the Raptors had not woken up.

As Hunter turned to her; she had accidentally kicked his forehead.

"—ah, me noggin'!" Hunter blurted out, instantly waking up the Raptors.

Brooklynn reached her hand down to Hunter. "Grab on!" But the Nature Boy had not panicked for even a second.

The pair of Velociraptors shot up to their feet before taking a step back once Hunter had turned around to face them. He rubbed his forehead for a second before remembering that there was a pair of Velociraptors behind him.

The two species locked eyes with each other; the Velociraptors seemed hesitant as they remembered their fight with the Great White.

Hunter smirks.

"Boo."

The Velociraptors promptly turned around and ran off into the jungle; not wanting to fight Hunter right now, he was still covered in their blood and his own, but unlike them: Hunter had nearly fully recovered.

After waiting to see the two raptors fully disappear into the jungle; Hunter climbed up the rope and hanged there in front of Brooklynn who was in awe that he scared off two Velociraptors that easily but she was also slightly terrified like the Raptors were.

"You didn't have to worry about the raptors, B." Hunter gently grabs wrist, "Hold on tight."

Hunter pulls her towards him to where she can hold onto his neck, he helps her maneuver around him and piggyback him while he climbed up the rope with ease. Brooklynn had stared at the side of his face while he climbed, a dark red blush forming on her face as she couldn't help but stare at him, feeling the outline of his shoulders beneath his clothes, not to mention the position they are currently in.

Hunter has been going through an extremely rough time but so far Brooklynn has been steering him back onto the right path again.

It seems the Nature Boy has yet to decide his path; just a few hours ago he was talking about feeding Kash to the Spinosaurus but then talked himself out of it.
