The heavy rain and flashing bolts of lighting were only making this situation even worse for Hunter. He's been running for as long as he can, but he can't keep this up forever, apparently the "dragons" chasing him can.

He leaped over a rock as one of the "dragons" tried pouncing on him, its sharp claws could easily cut into his flesh. It's bigger than a velociraptor, but not as smart as one, its still a problem for everyone.

He can't believe he's managed to survive as long as he has, this pack of dinosaurs has already killed everyone else, even the armed guards were taken out without much trouble.

He got a chance to climb up into a tree, but as he was about to make it to safety, one of the dinosaurs snapped its jaws shut on his foot. He yelled out in pain from the teeth cutting through his boot and sinking into his foot. He was yanked down to the ground. He rolled to his left to avoid one of them and then got pulled by the foot by the leader of the pack.

He turned onto his back to look up at its scarred face and he immediately kicked it in the jaw to have some time to escape. He was met with one of the other members yanking his arm back by its jaws.

He punched it in its nose and got up, only to come face-to-face with the leader again. He backed up and tripped over a rock, Hunter pushed himself as far as he could but the tree that could've granted him safety has now guaranteed his death.

The pack of Utahraptors creeps up to him, Hunters limbs tried hiding in himself like a turtle but of course that didn't work. The three Utahraptors laughed at him, they got ready...and then inevitably pounced—"BOO!" Hunter heard be shouted out from behind him, "HOLY FU—" Hunter fell off the top bunk and landed on the back of his head...again.

"Seriously Pinky?" He said irritated, rubbing the back of his head, "This is the second time you've managed to scare me." He told her truthfully but still annoyed.

"Awww, does someone need his diaper changed?" she teased, "No, I need you to stop teasing me, Pinky." He said quite annoyed of this frequent teasing she has started a few days ago.

"Maybe if you stop calling me Pinky then I'll stop teasing you." she challenged him with her stare but he didn't falter one bit.

She eventually gave up and sighed. "Anyways, I came over because everyone is gonna tell campfire stories." she pointed back to some spot that definitely looked to be where campfire stories would be told.

Hunter groaned, "Uh, no thanks." He started to climb back up to the top bunk but he was pulled right back down to the floor.

"Why do you always act like this?" she curiously but also ask annoyed. He gave her a confused look, he didn't quite catch what she meant.

She groaned at my confusion, "The way you suddenly want to be left alone." she said, "and how you try to avoid conversations or just people in general...are you hiding something?" she squinted her eyes and leaned closer, causing him to lean away.

"Blame my family for rarely letting me do anything social in my life." He quickly said.

"That's just...sad." Brooklynn said unsure of how to respond to that, Hunter didn't falter.

"I'm just weird, ok?" He tried to play it off like it didn't bother him that much, "I didn't grow up like many other kids, I had to learn everything by myself." He stated.

He remembered just how damaging it was for his confidence to even ask a simple 'What are we eating tonight?' back home. He doesn't want to share the words that were spoken during those times, but leave it at the fact that his father was the complete opposite of him.
