Hunter was sitting on the rock that the van crashed against. His head is throbbing, he doesn't even know how many times he's hit his head at this point. The other campers kept arguing and yelling at each other, mostly at Sammy. Hunter tried his best to rest and ignore the yells.
At this point he's willing to just lay down, but he's sure the campers will inevitably need his help.
Boom. Boom. Boom.
Those footsteps got closer, Bumpy was the only one that knew that thing was running their way. They're dead if the Indominus has just ambushed them. The trees crack and are torn apart by the Indominus, merely by its own size. Hunter heard the others scream and Ben repeatedly yell something about trash. Brooklynn and Kenji grab onto Hunters arms and yank him behind the van.
The Indominus ran past them.
"Like the man himself, Han Solo, likes to say...I got a bad feeling about this." Hunter says to himself.
A helicopter flies over them, chasing the Indominus is its objective. It's even shooting at the damn thing.
"They better kill it," Hunter breathed out, "First time I ever want an animal to die..." he stood back up and didn't notice his headache has seemed to take a vacation.
The Campers run after the Indominus, much to Hunters body's retorts. It was running towards the Aviary. They hear something ram into the glass dome. "What was that?" Brooklynn asked beside Hunter.
"That is the sound of our future problem," Hunter said while trying to let the others know they need to get out of there.
"Yeah! Kick it's butt Masrani! Woohoo! We're saved!" Kenji shouted.
Pteranodons and Dimorphodons fly up. Helicopter gets swarmed. They see a man nearly fall out and then is proceeded to get tackled by a Pteranodon. A Pteranodon kamikazes itself into the passenger seat. Helicopter loses control and starts smoking. Kenjis face rapidly declines into shock, as well as the others. Helicopter stalls and falls through glass. If Steve Irwin doesn't mess with birds, Hunter doesn't either.
"With those Pteranodons loose, we're sticking ducks! We got to take cover!" Darius yelled.
"The Kayak River! The entrance is near here, it goes underground beneath the ridge, if we follow it; it'll take us right to the main park!" Kenji informed them.
"Then that's our destination, let's go!" Hunter commanded.
They booked it, Hunter was following Yasmina and Kenji, but he's sure if he looked up...there'd be some unwelcome guests following above.
He looked behind himself and noticed one of the Pteranodons was swooping in for an attack on himself or Kenji.
"Sorry Kenji!" He yelled just as he slides and kicks Kenji's feet up, he wouldn't have been able to dodge the attack if Hunter hadn't done that.
Hunter threw him up with all his strength in his left hand and continued running. "Come on!" Kenji yelled as he turned to the right.
Hunter strayed back. The Pteranodons would go after the slowest, so he would like to give them a little surprise for thinking he's weak.
Ben and Darius tripped while carrying the squeak toy—Bumpy. Hunter jumped over Bumpy and slides a few feet in front of them. "Guys come on!" He yelled.
The Pteranodons noticed them trip. One of them dived towards the three from above. Hunter shoulder charge into its chest, seeing how its body isn't that well protected, he knew it would've knocked some air out of its chest.
They ran towards the entrance as the Pteranodon let out a pained chirp. Hunter started following but his left arm was suddenly grabbed by another bloody death tweaty.
