The storm had subsided for now, letting the Campers enjoy the fact that Sammy and Hunter had survived the poison. After waking up; Hunter was immediately tackled into a hug by Brooklynn and Darius, though he was still a little looney (heh, get it? Because he said—you get it).
"So...warm." Hunters body relaxed in the hug. Darius had let go after a few moments while Brooklynn clung to him a little longer.
She quietly sniffled before pulling back to see Hunters goofy grin.
"You're...pink..." Hunter stated, it seems his brain will take a moment before registering everything around him.
"How're you feeling?" Yaz softly asked Sammy who was clutching her stomach and breathing heavily.
"Like I got punched in the stomach by a porcupine. So you know, better." Sammy winced a smile.
"I love porcupines!" Hunter blurted out, waving his hands around like he was petting a porcupine. "But that big mean porcupine that hit me...that's a bad porcupine, a bad-bad porcupine..."
The Campers deadpanned at Hunter for a few moments before quietly laughing. Hunter looked at them confused before quietly laughing himself.
"Ok, Nature Boy...just take it easy for a while." Brooklynn gently pushed Hunter back down to the pillow to rest his head, it seems he did not retaliate and just let her push him back down.
"I love that song...by The Eagles...my mom used to sing Eagles songs at home before she abandoned me..." Hunter said pretty causally.
The Campers were taken aback for a second, remembering that he had told them about his mother leaving, but they ignored it as they were just happy the both of them were alive. Darius walked over to Sammy and placed a hand on shoulder, smiling at her and then at Yaz.
"Why is the sun so dark?" Hunter stared up at DAAAA MOOOOONNNNNNN.
The Campers laughed at Hunter as he just stared at the Moon, thinking it was the sun.
"Let's get to the boat while there's a break in the storm." Darius looked up at the clear sky before picking up one of the bags of supplies.
"What about the Scorpios Rex?" Brooklynn from beside Hunter, knowing that Hunter would not let the Scorpios destroy the ecosystem on this island.
Darius paused for a moment before nodding to himself.
"We have to risk it. We might not get another chance."
Brooklynn sighed, glancing down at Hunter who was looking around his surroundings like a lost child.
"He's not going to like that..."
The Campers had got ready to leave once again, tying vines around the water jug so it can be carried like a backpack, which Kenji puts on. Darius grabs all the walkie talkies, Brooklynn had started picking up all the spilled cans of food that the Scorpios and wind had knocked down. She picked up the van to see it was...not a food she enjoys.
"Ugh, Carob..."
She glances at the bag and then the looks around to see if anybody was watching before tossing the can behind her, acting like it didn't exist.
She looks up to see Darius standing in front of her.
"It was the right call." Darius stated, completely understanding why she threw it away.
He tossed her one of the Dino walkie talkies. "Cant take everything."
As Ben was picking up supplies he spotted Bumpys footprints. He leaned down and placed his hand inside her footprint. "Bumpy..."
