Bria gently opened the special delivery from Kyle. At least if it was a bomb she could suffocate the explosion with her power.

But she didn't expect what was in there.

Many of the crew screamed as a severed head rolled out do the box at Bria's feet.

     It was Lydia.

     Bria gasped. "That bas-"

"What barbaric acts." Price spoke up.

"She was my friend." Bria said. Well, Lydia had wished it was more than friendship, but we all know that wasn't going to happen.

"Maybe get your friend off of my docking bay so she doesn't scare people half to death." He said.

Bria ignored his ignorant comment and looked at Lydia's shocked severed head.

"This is a threat." Cassie said.

"Thank you Captain Obvious." Bria said sarcastically. "He's going to hurt everyone he can to get to me." She looked at Bethany. "I hope he doesn't know that you're still alive. Or that you're my sister."

"You don't think I could handle myself?" She said.

She looked at her armor. "Right..."

"As I asked so kindly," Price spoke up again. "Get this severed head off of my docking bay before it traumatizes too many people. We have very important people coming for a weapons trade they're offering us a brilliant deal. Better than the heroes of intelligent destruction or whatever you called it." He threw his hands over his head.

Some crew went to pick up Lydia's head and something in Bria's mind snapped.

This dude is worried about politics at this time?

"Are you serious? Do you not have a heart? Have no sympathy?" She asked.

He turned to her. "Listen, Your Majesty, people die in war all the time. It's what unfortunately has to happen."

"What kind of commander are you? Each life to you is worthless? Just another number? You're no better than Kyle." She said.

He got closer to her when she noticed that she was taller than him.

"Maybe you should watch your tone with me, I could easily kick you off my ship or have you arrested." He said.

"Maybe if you knew your place you would shut up." She said to the commander.

Cassie and a few other people gasped.

"Excuse me?" Price said.

"We're not getting anything done. The covenant has half of America on earth, there's a military fleet out there hunting us down because of me. Obviously sending us threats. My friend just lost her life because of me and you idiots are worried about money and rules that don't even matter now!" Bria yelled so hard that her throat croaked.

"Well maybe because money and rules are what runs this joint. And you're even lucky enough to be on this ship in the first place." He snapped back.

Bria clenched her fist. "I can show you how much I'm lucky to be on this ship, commander." Her head twitched.

Thel notice her eyes turn purple.

"Bria." She noticed Thel standing right next to her holding her arm.

She then noticed things in the room floating from her powers. She took and breath and they all fell.

"I-I I'm sorry." She said and felt her head when she had a sudden urge of dizziness.

Cassie rushed over by her side. "Are you okay?"

"I'm a little light-headed." She replied.

"Let's go to my office." Cassie grabbed her arm and led her into the hallway. "What was that about?"

Bria shook her head. "I don't know, I just get so angry at them. They want to play politics when it doesn't do anything productive." She felt her head. "Why am I so dizzy?"

"Probably because you didn't eat anything and threw up half of your stomach when you woke up." Cassie replied.

"Kyle could be doing this." Bria said quietly.

Finally, they arrived in Cassie's office. She sat Bria down and began to do all types of scans on her body.

"I don't know what's wrong with me, Cass. I've been throwing up everything I ate. Am I dying? Maybe I'm dying? I think Kyle is doing this." She said. Taking deep breaths trying to calm herself.

Cassie's eyes grew as she looked at the results. "Uh, it's probably not that."

"Let me guess, my body is eating me alive again and I'm dying. That's exactly what it is. I can't handle it again." Bria asked sarcastically.

"Not exactly." Cassie replied.

"Then what is it? I'm a big girl I can handle it."

"Bria." Cassie took a deep breath.

     Bria feared for the worse.

"You're pregnant."
