Bria's body still couldn't stop shaking, but after arguing with everyone she wanted to walk away and go do some research on her mother. She remembered everything that Kyle said about her.

   "Your mother created me."

Bria took a step back. She didn't know if she was shocked or offended.

"Why are you picking on my dead mother?" She snarled. "How dare you accuse her of such a thing."

"Oh don't believe me eh?" He said.

"She would never experiment with that. She was a college professor." Bria said.

"Why wouldn't she experiment with it?" He asked before saying, "when she was a hybrid herself."

Bria stopped breathing for a second.

Was what he was saying true?

"What was her name? Her real name?" Bria asked knowing that only a few people knew her real name.

"Rosaline Washington was her married name." He smiled.

     Bria's jaw dropped.

She shivered at the thought. She remembered that she wasn't very close with her mother. But she suddenly remembered the parts of her that she had forgotten.

Thel stuck to her side like glue, didn't even leave her for a second which she didn't mind. He remained quiet most of the time. Giving Bria space but not at the same time.

She decided to calm her mind and research her family on one of the UNSC database computers. Thels eyes searched the screen with her.

"You are researching your family?" He finally spoke up to her.

She nodded. "Kyle mentioned something weird. My mom created him and she was a hybrid too. Just like Kyle."

"So he is your brother?" Thel asked.

Bria jumped at the question and remembered everything that he'd done to her. It made her cringe. She hoped to God not.

That would be some sweet home Alabama stuff there... not that Thel would know what that means.

She quickly shook her head. "No, he would've mentioned that to me. Hopefully..."

     She looked up Rosaline Washington.

The search results automatically came up with the school. And just under that came up with her family's obituary. Including her own.

Bria first clicked on the obituary.

Rosaline Washington
A beloved teacher, mother, and daughter of Val Valkaril, sadly passed away to unfortunate circumstances, along with her husband, Evan Washington, and her daughter, Bethany Washington.

Bria wondered who the heck wrote that and it didn't give any information on her mom at all besides family members. She then decided to look at the school website. There was a whole memorial page dedicated to her mom. Funny enough because they almost fired her at one point for talking about the war, aka "sensitive topics".

Bria internally rolled her eyes remembering that fiasco.

"Rosaline Valkaril." Both Bria and Thel jumped as they heard a voice behind them. Another anonymous Elite stood there staring at the screen. Bria thought about snapping at him for prying, but instead, she was curious.
