"You told them?" She questioned. Fuming.

"Yeah. They offered some pretty good alliances. I asked if they could kill the Swords of Sangheilios in return for that information. But I think I might do that myself." He chuckled.

"You bastard!" She ran towards him, fully on fire.

"Ack!" A piercing pain ran through her abdomen as soon as she got close to him.

Bria looked down and saw a super long knife in her gut. The pain was so intense. She didn't know what to do.

He twisted the knife making the pain even more unbearable. She didn't even have time to scream.

"Two down." Kyle smiled at her.

He pulled the knife out and Bria fell to the floor in her blood.

"I genuinely did love you, Bria. Your ambition and determination were astounding. I knew I had to find a way to take you and your spawn out. Goodbye, Bria. For good this time. Cause you're not coming back. I'll make sure to tell hubby that you love him when I bury this same dagger into him as well. How romantic huh?" He stepped over her leaving her to bleed out.

Her vision was starting to get blurry but she reached over to her helmet and grabbed her earpiece. She also noticed her crystal was with her armor. Oh, she was a fool for doing that.

"C-Cassie??" She spoke into the mic.

"Bria, what's wrong? Are you having a reaction?" Cassie asked panicked.

"I need you to c-come quick." Bria managed to speak.

"I'll be right there. Same spot?" Cassie asked.

"Yes." Bria said.

A couple of painful minutes later Cassie slid by her side. "Bria?! What happened?!" She was shocked to see all the blood.

"K-Kyle..."

The pain was so intense.

"Oh my god..." Cassie sighed. "I knew it I knew it. I'm so sorry Bria... we'll get you fixed, okay?"

"J-just get... Rayna... o-out...." Bria could hardly catch her breath. "Something's... something's wrong with h-her..."

The pain was so intense.

"But I can't do a C-section without proper anesthetics, you won't make it." Cassie was crying.

"Please... g-get her... out..."

The pain was so intense.

"Bria? Stay with me, Bria? Bria??" She heard Cassie's screams.

The pain was so intense...

Her body turned cold and everything went dark...

Thels pov:

Thel roared as he cut another infected in half. It upsets him knowing that this was one of his people. One of his brothers. He despised the flood and all that they've done. They're a bunch of pests.

Another one down and he seemed to have this section cleared. He hoped they would be able to cleanse the planet.

"Hey there big guy." Not the greeting that he was expecting from an uncertain voice.

He turned and saw Kyle. "Kyle." He glared.

"Yeah bet you weren't expecting me. Normally I'm hanging around your wife." He said.

Thel growled. "If you weren't Bloodbound-"

"We're not. She's cured. Maybe for life. From any more pain or suffering." Kyle smirked stepping towards him.

"What are you saying?" Thel questioned. He didn't like his tone or how he just kept smiling.

"I'm saying, your wife and child are dead, arbiter." He chuckled.

Thels eyes grew. His hearts seemed like they dropped. "Impossible."

"No very much possible. Killed her with this." He held up a blood-soaked dagger.

"No..." Thel was horrified.

"And don't worry, big guy, you will soon join them." He glared at him.

"No!"

Thel charged him and Kyle quickly got out of the way, then slashed Thels side with the dagger. He groaned in pain, but the adrenaline made him immune to it.

He got back on his feet, roaring with rage. His hearts were crushed at the mere thought of not being able to see Bria again. That she was gone forever.

"Yeah remember the powers you were so scared of with your wife?" Kyle chuckled asking him. "You might not want to mess with me."

Thel huffed and stared at him as he held his bleeding side. He was surprised at how deep it was. He also knew the knife was laced with something. Like a flesh-eating poison. Kyle was getting closer to him.

But something clicked in his head.

"You don't have any powers." Thel spoke between breaths.

Kyle laughed. "Of course I do."

"Your blood bond is over. You don't have any powers." Thel repeated.

Kyle's face dropped and he lifted his hands trying to shoot a fireball at Thel. Nothing came out of his hands and Thel didn't flinch.

"No... no! No!" He shook his hands trying desperately to see a spark.

Thel smirked at the tantrum that he was throwing.

"I will still kill you!" He screamed at Thel and ran a him with the knife.

Thel dodged a couple but got slashed again in the arm.

He tried to dodge again but Kyle managed to strike him in the gut. But it only punctured his skin.

Thel glared at him and Kyle looked like he feared for his life.

He should've.

Thel grabbed Kyle's face which made Kyle scream in terror, then in one swift motion, Thel dug his fingers into his eyes and ripped his head off. His spine was still connected, blowing in the breeze.

Thel watched his body fall onto the ground. He threw his head to the side a kneeled to the ground, roaring to the sky.
