"You want some?" Napatunghay ako kay Lhor mula sa pagkakadukdok dito sa may shoreline ng beach. Inabutan niya lang ako ng isang latang beer.

"Thanks for taking me away." Malungkot kong pasalamat sa kaniya at tinanggap ang dala niyang beer.

"Want to talk about it?" Tanong niya na dinaluhan ako sa pagkakaupo.

"Zack and Leigh fought outside my penthouse." Pauna ko dito. Hindi naman siya nagsalita at patuloy lang na nakikinig.

"Zack was forcing me to talk and he provoked Leigh." Patuloy ko pa pero hindi parin siya sumasagot o nagtatanong ng kung ano.

"Leigh was misunderstanding me for what he heard. Cara and Miranda were talking about Zack's reaction and frustration about our engagement." Napalingon siya sa akin nang marinig niya ang mga huling sinabi ko.

"I've talked to them already yet they still went ahead and told you." Seryosong sagot nito. Mas lalo pa siyang humarap sa akin.

"What's stopping all of you to tell me?" Sa hindi maipaliwanag na dahilan ay gusto ko ring malaman yung mga bagay na pinipigilang sabihin ni Miranda sa akin.

"You and Zack were friends and the bond you have is unbreakable. He was like a brother and a more than friend and we never really wanted to break it once you found out." Naguguluhan ako sa mga sinasabi nila dahil hindi ko maintindihan kung ano ba yung maaaring makasira sa amin ni Zack.

"Sabihin nyo na lang sa akin. I should be the one to decide what is best for me." Seryoso kong sagot sa kaniya. Napabuntong hininga naman siya bago sumeryoso ng tingin sa akin.

"He's been drunk with his feelings for you. One celebration night with Zack, he lost his sanity and almost take you." Nagulat ako sa sinabi niya. Never kong napansing may pagtingin sa akin si Zack. He's been one of my best pal.

"What do you mean by take me?" Diretsong tanong ko.

"I can't find the exact word to explain it but you were dead drunk that time I caught him kissing you while you're unconscious in the lounge of the club." Pakiramdam ko ay parang nabastos nag pagkatao ko sa sinabi nyang yun.

"What? Yet you kept this from me. How could you?" Mapait na sumbat ko dito.

"I'm really sorry, Sophia. He's learned his lessons and I beat him to death that same night." Sinserong paliwanag niya.

"Why are you keeping this a secret from me then? You should have told me, Lhor. What if he took advantage of me again." Panunumbat ko sa kaniya.

"You wouldn't believe us in the first place. We all agreed not to tell you since we don't want to ruin your respect for him." Paliwanag niya pa.

"Still..."

"Sophia, I wouldn't let anything bad happen to you. I always keep my guard whenever he's around." Pagsisiguro niya sa akin.

"Wala naman na akong magagawa tapos na yun but I don't want him near me again baka hindi ko alam ang magagawa ko sa kaniya." Nagtiim ang aking bagang sa isipang makita uli siya matapos ang nalaman ko.

"What happened down there? Why are you running away from Seth?" Nag-aalalang tanong nito sa akin. He's well aware that I already have feelings for that bastard.

"After he fought with Zack, he walked out and I followed him only to find out that he was kissing that Francine." Naalala ko na naman yung naabutan ko. He said he love me but he was kissing another girl. Lumagok uli ako ng alak ng maramdaman ko na naman yung kirot sa dibdib ko.
