My face met his shoulder as he pulled me into a warm embrace. The sudden contact of his skin sent fire through my body. But that still didn't keep me from looking back at the girl restrained by cuffs around her scrawny wrists attached to short chains on the wall. Long strings of her dark brown hair fell in her swollen face.
Sehun was speechless, as he just standed there observing my expression.
Why didn't he say anything?
I wasn't able to break my gaze away from her till those same thud of footsteps clicked against the tile floor. Why didn't I pay attention to that before? Sehun wasn't wearing any shoes when he came in, none the less he was naked just like me.
That just showed me more how worried he was for me.
3rd Person (Narrator)
Slipping from behind the door, Kai made his way toward Sehun and Mayuko. He exaggerated out, “Wow, look at you two. The perfect couple I should give you award. My dick."
Terror snuck into Sehun's face as he snatched it around to notice Kai there smiling cunningly. This was the person who he was powerless against; he had to follow whatever he said.
The girl behind Mayuko lowly moaned, sending a shiver up her spine. She made small movements as she wept out in pain.
Kai noticed Mayuko's frightened bewildered look. But she didn't happen to notice that Kai was right there next to her.
Balling his hands into tight fists; Sehun restrained himself from pounding them in Kai's jaws. He knew that Kai had something on him worser than blackmail.
Mayuko flinched when Kai's fingertips grazed the side of her cheek. Cold wind streamed through her ear as he spoke, “If you don't be a good girl you’ll end up just like her over there." The threat from his lips sent her head into a spiral making her lips quiver.
Mayuko traced her eyes over every black and purple bruise on the girl’s body. It was so horrible that even her eyes were puffy from crying that she couldn't even open them to see. All she could do was whimper.
Turning around slowly Mayuko searched for help from Sehun.
Avoiding her eyes, Sehun shamefully looked at the white tile on the floor and turned his back walking out to leave before he did something he wish he didn't.
Shattering her heart, he was nowhere in sight.
Mayuko wanted to cry, but for some reason but, the emptiness she felt in her heart couldn't create sadness. It was empty, vacant, and once more lowly.
But there was still a shard of love for her; she just needs to remember those two important people...
