1st POV: Sehun's

I sat there in the car with so many thoughts streaming in my mind, and I couldn't even find a spot to rest peace on. When Mayuko turned her back on me, it felt as if the world did as well. Did she really forget me? Did she really love me? Did she choose Kai?

If I had told her what happened to Kai, she would probably never forgive me, but I just couldn't bring myself to tell her. How could I? Especially, when her best friend was dying in there. I knew how she felt about her friends. I read her face all those times in high school. When she wasn't looking at me, she was looking at them. I felt grateful...but right now, I felt hateful because she wasn't looking at me.

She was looking at Kai.

She was loving Kai.

She was Kai's.

Not mines.

My heart was broken.

How could an angel break my heart?

Just the thought of that filled me with heated fury, and I slammed my tightened enraged fist against the car door creating a loud sound, which was like sweet music of destruction to my ears, but that didn't do me any good.

As my breath quickened from the anger, I heard someone running toward the car door and my first thought was Mayuko, but I was utterly wrong.

Tiffany ran up to the door and opened it with the state of panic all over her face. She looked at me with fearful eyes and grabbed my hands, pulling me out the car.

"W-What's wrong?" I asked in a concerned tone, but she didn't say anything. All she did was shake her head and tears washed down her face as she kept pulling me across.

I slammed the car door and pulled back with a confused expression painted on my face. "Is it Jessica? Did she...”

Die?

I didn't bother to finish anymore, because she ought to know where I was going. Her bottom lip quivered and then she pulled me harder. "Please!" She cried and then let go of my hand to run off back into the hospital.

What was going on?

Something had to be going on, so I ran with her into the hospital. I followed her and thought we were going to Jessica's room, but she ran passed the room. Suddenly, I felt my heart drop.

Mayuko?

When she turned into a room and opened the door, I dashed in as well. I truly believed that my eyes were fooling me, but Mayuko was there on the hospital bed with two doctors on each side, pumping her chest and one holding a mask for air against her mouth. Then, there was a nurse holding, a gauze pad against the temple of her head.
