1st POV: Mayuko's

Rather than his hand that was tightening on my wrist, his words were tightening and suffocating my heart. That wasn't surely good.

"Tell me why!" He yelled and I took notice that his eyes were blood shot. His breath had the smell of alcohol and it was confirmed, when he crashed his lips against mines violently. With a tilt of his head and our nose brushing over one another lightly, his tongue slipped inside of my mouth coating his taste on my tongue.

With my free hand I brought it up and I hit his chest for him to let me go, but his lips kept smuggling me, taking my breath away. My eyes were shut as I tried to fight this feeling and to replace it with hate. Even if I wanted to love you, I couldn't.

A big outburst of strength suddenly came out of me when I raised my hand up and I slapped his face. The first time I ever slapped him. I seen others slap him and diminish his pride before me, but when I did it I felt that I received the slap than giving it. It was painful. It was agony. It was sickening. It was shameful.

I was those things.

And I noticed Kai was as well, when he face was turned to the direction I slapped him and tears dripped down his cheeks like a rainfall, a heavy rainfall. He took in a deep slow breath and nodded slowly before he sadly mumbled to me.

"I deserved that."

I stood there and I let my arm fall to my side slowly at first, but then it hit the side of my hip like a heavy weight as I looked at him wide sad eyes.

Then he turned and looked at me after we wiped his face, but I could still see those tears.

He spoke in a voice that was losing his strength, "Mayuko...can't you at least tell me why I fell in love with you?"

He made it sound like he just loved me in this moment.

That wasn't the case.

"You make it sound like you've forgotten. How can I remind you of something that wasn't there for you."

"I had forgotten."

"I was wrong. It was there,” He continued.

What was he saying?

The elevator door had opened to the first floor and I took the liberty to storm out through the lobby of the door.

He was lying.

He had to be.

He should be.

So...I could go through with this till the end.
