Dinner flew by quickly and it was filled with the constant banter between Greg and William.  Not many people were at this dinner as there was from before.

Ricardo was not present but his pregnant wife was there.  She sat next to Kettle's sister.  She was wearing another soft pink dress with ruffles around the bottom.

I was also surprised to see Kettle sister there with the other young man from before, Roger.  Roger though seemed just as nervous as before but Nora seemed to be all right.  I suppose you would be growing up with the mob as her file had said.  She was a really good shot and also is very handy with knife work.  There was nothing over this Roger character though, and that made me concerned.

Looking at Kettle next I found myself feeling saddened.  Even as we all left to go our separate ways I could not get Kettle's happy self out of my mind.  How can she hold herself so highly after what she has been through?

"New Jade!  You have been looking rough all night, chica," Ricardo's wife said walking with me behind William.

I froze up a bit, but not so it showed.  "Y-yeah, I guess."

"Is something wrong?  Something on your mind?"

I shook my head no.  That was a lie of course; Kettle's file really bothered me.

"My Jade," William said turning towards me, "Would you like to accompany me to the garden area for a walk?"

William looked handsome tonight in his red suit.  His mis-matched eyes looking down at me softly had my heart racing.  "W-well, I, uh...-"

Suddenly a muscular arm was wrapped around my shoulders and I was pulled into a familiar chest.  "Sorry brother, but I already called dibs on her."

William glared at Greg.  "And what gives you the right to call dibs on your Boss's woman, huh?  Brother or not, I can shoot you dead here and now."

My eyes widdened at William threat.  He was serious about shooting Greg.  My heart beat raced and I started to become worried.  I pushed myself away from Greg and walked over to William.

"It's alright William.  I will go with you," I said stealing a sad glance towards Greg.  Greg seemed upset and angry.

William grabbed my hand softly and smiled deviously at Greg.  "Well brother it seems like Jun is mine for the night."

We started to walk away and I gave one last look back at Greg who looked confused but replaced it with a frown and a dark expression before walking away.

We made it out to the courtyard where I first saw Rachel.  William and I walked hand in hand through the yard in the moon's light.

"My mother always loved it out here," William said with a smile.

"It is beautiful," I admitted.  I felt uneasy being with William after what he said so my hand he held became sweaty quickly.

"Have you grown accustomed to life here yet?  This is your third day here and I'm hoping you haven't had to much trouble from anyone."

"Yes, I suppose I have.  William," I asked carefully, "do you think I may return h-home?"

William stopped walking.  "Why would you want to?  This is your new home.  Are we not good enough?  Is there something you lack?  Tell me and I will get what ever you wish."

William is looking at so intensely I blushed.  "N-no, its not that..."

"Then what is it?"

"My family...my friends...," I looked away.  "They are probally so worried about me."

William grabbed my chin and raised my head to look at his eyes.  He narrowed his eyes and I suddenly became frightened.  "This is what has worried you?"

"You were the one to kidnap me remember.  And I was with one of my close friends, Ellie, when you did."

William grained suddenly and chuckled.  "You are strange," he said becoming very close to my face, "If that's all, then here."  He pulled out his cellphone and handed of too me.  But before I took it he grasped my wrist.  "You can not speak of where you are at, understand.  You are my Jade and I wish to keep it that way.  I also wouldn't want anything to happen to your friend, Ellie."

"I understand," I said with a smile.  I snatched the cell phone and dialed the familiar number.  It rung once, twice, three long times before a painced "Hello" came.

"Hello?  Ellie is that you?"

"Jun?  Jun!  I have been so worried where are you?  Are you Ok?"

I began to tear up.  "Yes I am fine but are you Ok?  How is everyone?"

"Worried about you of course!  Where are you and I will come get you!  We contacted the police and they have been searching everywhere."

I glanced at William who was smiling softly at me.  I can not tell Ellie where I am but I can not just beat around the bush.  "Ellie, listen," I said never taking my eyes off William's ever watching ones, "I can not come back.  Yet.  But I will soon, I promise Ok."

"What do you mean?  Jun?  Jun, answer me!  Please...Jun?". I couldn't say anymore.  "Goodbye, Ellie," I said crying now.  I hung up as she called out my name again.

I just starred at the ground, crying.  No, I shouldn't be crying.  Not here.  I shoved William's phone back into his hand before turning to run away.  I ignored William as he called out my name but son he caught me in his arms.

"I don't know what to tell you, Jun.". I struggled against his hold but his grip was strong.  No way was I getting anywhere.  "Let me go, William!"

"No.  You wanted that.  You wanted to contact them so I let you.  Even though I knew you would cry, Jun.". I stopped struggling now and cried silently in his arms.  His voice sadden, "I don't know what to say to you to make this better.  The only thing I know is I have to marry you to become the true Boss of the Chocolates.  She...she wanted to be with me, Jun.  But I couldn't be with her..."

I choked back a sob and looked back at him through blurry vision.  He looked sad, troubled, and angry.  I didn't understand what he was telling me.  He realesed me.  "Go."

I hesiated leaving.  William looked so troubled, even on the urge of tears.  "William..."

He gave me a glare for the first time and I really saw the death there.  "Leave, Jun.  Now!"

I turn and walked away in a half jog.  Tears still streaming down my face.  At least I could tell Ellie I was fine, but I still feel sad.  Is that what William meant?  Was I causing trouble with Ellie by giving her hope I was ok then just letting my existence fade away?

I was frustrated and scared.  I wanted to be home with my cat and dog once more in my apartment in Georgia.  I was running with my head down, not paying any attention, when I hit someone.

"I-im sorry," I said wiping away a tear from my eye.

"Jady?"

I looked up and Greg looked shocked.  He had changed I noticed into the familiar black tee shirt and black jeans of before.  He put both hands on my shoulders and bent down to look me in the eyes.  "What's wrong?  What happened?"

Looking into Greg's green eyes I felt protected and sheltered.  I did not know this feeling that was coming over me but I suddenly started to cry freely in front of him.

I same his features tense and he brought me into a hug.  "What has got into you now, Jady?"  He seemed genuinely concerned for me this time, even going so far as to turn on his dark air to scare off a curious maid or butler.

Why has my life come to thisWhy does my heart race with this bad boyWhy am I in all this?  All these thoughts came to me as I cried into Greg's soft, black shirt.
