I entered my room flustered and angry.
"Well, well.  Flirting with the Boss's brother now are we," Kettle said sitting in a chair across the room.
"Kettle!  D-did you see what he did," I defended myself.
Kettle stood smiling.  "Oh.  I heard Everything," she said slowly.
"Why are you looking at me like that?", I asked.
"You like him, don't you?  This is just perfect," Kettle said squeeling, "A love triangle!"
I face palmed.  "There is no love triangle," I explained, "I do not love anybody and I am not getting married."
Kettle payed no attention though.  "Oh the Boss will be so surprised!  Greg was always the serious brother.  To think that he would fall so easily?"
I gave up.  Reasoning with her was impossible as she countinued her fangirling.  I sat on my bed and listened to her.  Mostly though I ignored her and picked imagenary lint off my green satin dress.
After what seemed like hours my stomach gave off a low growel to tell me it was time to eat.  I forgot I haven't eaten since I was with Ellie the day before.
"When's dinner?", I asked.
Kettle immediately smiled, "Can't wait to see your lovers already, huh?"
I blushed.  "I have no lovers.  I am just hungry."
Kettle checked a small, blue wrist watch she wore and smiled.  "You are expected at dinner in ten minutes."
I stood up and started for the door.  "Well I'm hungry now."
Kettle stood up quickly, "Wait!  You might not want to-"
I looked back at her and opened the door.  "I don't care!  It will take me ten minutes just to find my way there!"
I went to turn and storm out when I collided right into a hard chest.  I grabed the suit the person wore to keep from falling and strong hands grabed my arms.
"We have to stop meeting like this, Jady."
"G-Greg!"
He grinned at me when I looked up at him.  "I wouldn't doubt you would get lost."
I blushed, "S-shut up!"  He just grinned.
I then relized that we were holding each other.  A heavenly cologne smell hit my senses.
What the heck is up with these men and this heavenly cologne they have I thought feeling my face get warm.
Along with that seductive grin of his I would have stripped right then if I was any other girl.  But I'm not any other girl!  I am June Kerryson from Georgia, and I strip for no man!  But darn it all, I just might if I don't get away from him.
I shot away from his reach, reaching level lava on my face is burning level.  "Why-you-the door-," I stuttered.
Kettle curtsied, "Cousin."
"Don't curtsy him!", I barked out and Kettle giggled.
"Aww.  Ordering the maids around already.  Tsk, Tsk Jady," Greg commented.
"Shut up," I glared back at him.   "Why are you here anyway?"
Greg put his hands loosely in his pockets again.  He shrugged, "Came to take you to dinner."
"And what makes you think I'm gonna let you walk me to dinner," I said crossing my arms stubbornly.
Greg challenged that with another smile.  "Do I really need to throw you over my shoulder again?"
Kettle squeeled silently behind me to which I shot a death glare to.  Turning back I glared at Greg.  He held it up by turning on the heavy atmosphere that seems to follow him around and he darkened expression.  "Miss. June.  I do beilive you should come with me."
I bulked up and held back my fear.  "I am not afraid.  Especially of you Mr. Serious.  I will walk alone."
I pushed my way passed him.  He followed in suit beside me.  "Then I shall accompany you.  You know, so you don't get lost again Jady," he says winking.
I smiled; ignoring his serious atmosphere.  "Don't call me Jady," I said jokingly.
Moments later we appeared infront of two large doors.  I turned and noticed Greg's crooked tie.  "Greg, really?"
He looked confused as he tilted his head.  I gave an aggrevated sigh as I reached to grab and fix his tie.  Greg seemed to stiffen and lean away from my touch.
I grabed his black tie anyway though.  "Honestly.  If your gonna wear your suit's jacket open at least fix your tie."
Greg's body relaxed as I heard him chuckle.  "Almost forgot who I was with," I heard him mummble under his breath.
I looked up and saw his green eyes watching me tenderly.  Caught by surprise; I blushed and tightened the tie quickly.  "W-what are you starinf at?!"
Greg gave out a chocking sound as he grabed my hands on his tie.  "Or maybe I should remember who I'm with," he said chuckling.
I was about to ask what he meant when the large kitchen doors opened adruptly; cutting me.
"Oh, June!  I thought I-"  William cutt off and starred directly at our hands.  Greg grins and I yank my hands away.
"W-William!  I-Greg was just helping me find my way!"
Why am I explaining myself? I thought.
William frowned and glared at Greg.  Pulling me close to him suddenly, William let out a dark, "Mine."
He walked off with me hugged to his side.  I was almost triping over my green dress.  "I'm sorry.  Ignore him, my Jade.  He is to serious.  Lets enjoy our dinner with friends," William said to me with a brighr smile.  His smile seemed sweet and sincere and I once again questioned if this was truly a mob boss infront of me.  His smile made my heart beat quicken.
We stopped walking and William held out his arms, "Pick any seat you wish!  As long as it is close to me.  Perferably beside me."
I wonder about him...am I really in a mob? I thought looking at William walk away.
