William's back was to me as I stood there anxiously waiting for the silent atmosphere to leave.
William pulled out his cell phone and spoke to me as he put it to his ear, "You may leave now."
I wasn't about to argue with that request.
"O-ok then," I said turning to leave. But then it hit me that I had no idea how to get back to my room. I was just listening to Kettle the intire time.
I'm to afraid to ask how to get back I thought standing there. So my mind went blank and I stood spacing out; hopeing that I could turn invisible.
"I said you could leave now, June," William said a bit stern.
Guess my plan failed...
"O-ok. I will leave now," I responded coming to the decision to try and just find my room myself.
"Wait," William says before I leave. I turned as he was putting his cell phone back in his pocket. I stood stiff, waiting for what ever he was about to say. Then out of the blue he chuckled.
"What's so funny," I asked.
"You don't know your way back do you?" He grinned as my mouth fell open. "I will take that as a yes," he said.
"I-I know where I'm going!", I defended myself.
"Yeah. Sure. The kidnaped girl knows her way around already in a mob boss's mansion," William said with mocking smile.
Hmph! I thought turning around. "I know where I'm going! I need no help from the Kidnapper!"
With that I stalked out of the room from the door I came from. I am not afraid of anyone who mocks me!
A few moments later, though, I found myself completly lost. I passed a few buttlers who took no notice of me. They seemed to be carrying food trays. I followed them for awhile until I noticed a door that lead outside.
My heart froze as my eyes locked onto the door. I could escape! I thought dashing to the door. I could go to the police to help me hide from the mob and I will be home sweet home!
I reached for the chrome handle as soon as someone entered. I froze in place as my eyes found a pair of startled green eyes.
The man's appearnce yelled serious and deadly. His black shirt and jeans was complete with a chain necklace and a chain hanging from his belt loops.
"What do you think your doing," he asked closing the door behind him.
"I-I-" I stuttered backing up.
Busted! I thought.
