I desperately went around looking for William and Greg.  I went up to Kettle in a bit of a mess.  "Have you seen William...or Greg?  Either one of them really?"

Kettle didn't seem worried but then her small smile faded with a frown.  "No, I haven't.  I'm sure they are around here some where," was all she said in reassurance.  She didn't seemed all that assured herself.  I nodded but i was fidgeting where I stood.  Tears were about to escaped my nicely built wall I had built since I had separated from Greg in the hall.

I mentally told myself not to cry.  This is not the time to cry yet in front of everyone.  I took a deep breath and walked over to Wade who sat next to a concerned Bob.  I sat down on the large rock next to Wade's.  Wade's arm appeared burnt pretty badly and limp at that but he was still smiling and reassuring Bob that he was fine.

"I'm sorry Wade," Bob commented in his usual monotone voice.  He even had his sunglasses off which had me a bit shocked.  "I could have tackled that guy if I hadn't let me guard down."

Wade chuckled playfully.  "It's fine Bob.  Don't worry about it.  I should have stabbed that guy a few more times to make sure he was dead before I left him there.  If I had he wouldn't have sneaked up behind you."

This got my attention.  I could not see Wade stabbing anyone.  "You stabbed someone," I asked.  When they looked at me I immediately shook my head.  "I mean, uh, how is your arm?  Are you two OK?"

"Miss Jade," Bob said before nodding that he was alright.  Wade hugged his arm and gave a smile.  "I will be alright.  Nothing too bad."

I could tell he was lying.  His arm was broken from what I could see and how he managed to smile through the pain even had me impressed.  He smiled at him, attempting to hide my sadness, "Please don't stress yourself too much."

Wade's eyes seemed a bit disturbed as he noticed that I knew he was worse for wear.  He hide it as fast as it came with a smile.  "Of course!  Stress never bothered me anyway.  Right Bob?"

Bob sighed in response.  I could tell Bob was relived his comrade was alright.  I stood and was about to ask if they had seen Greg or William when the mansion gave a slight cringing noise.  It sounded like a hundred trees were ready to fall over at the same time.  A sicking groan that we all knew what was about to happen.

Screams of panic echoed as many people began to scurry away from the house.  Wade was helped by Bob as he just picked up the smaller man.  Kettle helped Bella and Jim to get away but all I could do was stare.  I stared over at the rising orange flames and loud groans of the house about to cave in on the bomb implanted somewhere within.  I desperately looked and looked for any sign of the two men that had stolen me into their lives.

I saw nothing though.  I felt someone tug on my arm and by the sound of the voice it was Maddie.  We had only taken but a few steps when the house caved in on itself and as if in slow motion, the house blew!  The shock was so powerful it blew myself and Maddie a few feet.  The warm air from the blast rolled over us like waves on sand.

I hit the ground on my burnt shoulder and let out a small scream of pain.  My heart broke into two.  Liar!  You said you would be alright!  Stupid Greg!  My mind broke as I sobbed there on my back.  I thought of his cocky attitude and smug look.  He was not the only one on my mind however.  William was there two.  His sweet voice and calm smile.  He was over hyper, sure, but he was nice.

Both of you...why...don't you know how much I-

"Miss us."

I heard a cry of relief spread across everyone behind me.  I slowly sat up and looked back towards the crowd of people behind me.  There standing next to each other was William and Greg.  There were bloody, burnt, and covered in soot.  And held in William's arms was Rachel.  Her eyes were closed and she lay limp as if she was asleep.
