Jayden's POV

When I woke up from the coma, injured and in pain, I never thought a day would come when I'd be able to stand on my feet normally again and regain my good health fully.

I thought the accident and the coma would bring major changes into my life, but if there were any, they were mainly positive because the time I had spent at the hospital had not only been a healing process, but an opportunity to reflect on my life and allow personal growth.

It had taken me nearly six weeks to finally be discharged from the hospital, strong, healthy and ready to start living my life again. It hadn't been something easy. It had taken a lot of faith, commitment and patience plus my friends and family had been there for me. I appreciated all their love, sacrifices and support. I was very lucky to have them.

Above all, I had the most precious and priceless jewel of my life right next to me. No matter how broken I was at the moment, there wasn't even a single day that she wasn't by my side or a day that I doubted her true love for me.

She had been there from day one, taking good care of me and keeping me company. She made my stay at the hospital tolerable. She pampered me, giving me sweet gifts every single day, attending my therapy sessions with me, both physical and mental, and she offered me a shoulder to cry on whenever I felt down.

She organised cute dates for us in the hospital, each with a new style and fun activity. She made me laugh hard, smile and feel alive. Although I was already decided that she was my forever, she gave me one more reason to love her every single day. I fell in love again every single day, but always with her.

She was my pillar of strength and generally the sweetest woman I had the privilege of spending the rest of my life with.

This period hadn't only been about me, but us and our marriage as well. We had moments when we had serious talks and shared our deepest feelings and sorrows and helped each other overcome our demons. I was comfortable sharing everything with her and so was she.

I supported her in every way I could especially emotionally. I prioritised her health in every sense, her happiness and her security. I respected and admired her for her ability to pick herself up and fix herself no matter what she went through and spread sunshine in the lives of those around her and herself.

She had been the one to get me discharged from the hospital and we were on our way home. It was still in the morning around eleven. She had briefly went to work and took the rest of the day off to be with me. I appreciated how she always made time for me.

We sat next to each other in the car, holding hands. Every single thing that I did with her, small or big, was special to me even holding hands. I loved how it made me feel. She was talking randomly about how excited she was to have me back home. I could see and feel her excitement.

I just admired her the entire time, enjoying the addictively sweet sound of her voice. I could listen to her speak all day long because her voice was music to my ears.

The way she moved her kiss inspiring lips, coloured by a glossy red lipstick, allured me. They had always been an inviting pair that left me begging for more after one delicious taste. I couldn't wait to get a satisfying taste of her again for the first time in two and a half months.

"Jayden, you haven't said much since we left the hospital," Kyra observed, giving me a placid smile. "You've just been admiring me."

I raised her hand to my lips and planted a sweet kiss on it. "At least you know I'm admiring you," I said, raising my eyes to look into her soft ocean eyes. "You're very beautiful and I love listening to you speak. Your voice is music to my ears," I complimented her honestly.
