The door to his garage leading to his cabin was wide open, a car sat inside on display. I slammed my own car door shut and stormed toward the area mad as ever. "Where were you?" I asked heated that he was lounging in front of a car instead of paying me some attention.

"I didn't feel like coming, I thought it was a practical joke that your father put together." He said to me as he went back to screwing something together.

"That's not it at all. Just maybe I really like you and I wanted to spend a nice afternoon getting to know you. Is that to much to ask?" I asked as he looked up at me, but kept his face shaded by the hood of the car. I stormed off towards mine, but turned back around because I had a few last words.

"I'm not who you think I am, I would never go along with a stupid plan or trick to play on you. I'm not that kind of girl. I actually see something in you and my dad doesn't control me like you think." I added as I stormed off again. He didn't come after me, so I decided to say one more thing as I turned around I saw him storming my way.

"This is why I didn't show up." He said as I stared at his head. It had a huge cut  along his hairline and his eye was swollen some.

"I'm sorry, what happened?" I asked as he grabbed my hand and whisked me off to a random place in the woods. We walked slowly down a long path, he moved the long tree branches along the way. He called it the Hiding Place. It was a huge open area. It looked unoccupied and was very quiet. We sat down and he talked all night, giving minor details about random things and I listened and ate every single word up. I understood why he probably thought I would stand him up now.

"That sounds rough. Are you planning on going to college?" I asked as he chuckled. "Yeah of course they'd accept me, the drunken wife beater's son." He said back with lots of sarcasm. I frowned at him. I knew his family had a bad name in town, but he doesn't seem anything like the rumors I've heard.

"Your dad shouldn't determine your future. You're smart as hell and they'd be stupid not too accept you in my opinion. What do you want to be?" I asked him as his face contorted, I could tell he was thinking. "An architect, I like building or cars. I'd also love to design cars!" He said with the most enthusiasm I'd ever heard about getting a job. He's a hard worker, I can tell. He cleared his throat and went back to his solemn face expression.

"I want to be a teacher, even though my dad's pushing me to pursue anything else. I don't really care though, I love kids and I want to be an inspiration to them all." I said as he watched me closely the whole time. It made me scared that maybe he knew who I was.

"What?" I asked panicked as I began to pat my face for food trails. He chuckled. "Your face is still there and it's still stunning." He said as I tried my hardest not to blush. "Thanks, I better get going though. My father will most definitely worry and I've heard about you." I said.

He stood first and pulled me up softly. I handed him his jacket he had let me borrow. He declined it and stared deeply in my eyes. I moved an inch closer.

"What do you mean you've heard about me?" He asked with our lips inches apart. "You're a player, and you're pretty damn good." I said falling into his gaze. "Am I now?"

He leaned forward slightly and parted his lips. His lips just lightly touched mine as one of his arms snaked around my waist. I closed my eyes and moved in a rhythm with him. His lips were captivating and tasted of mint. I knew I shouldn't be doing this if he knew who I was and that I'm a joke. He wouldn't be able to stand me. We both broke the kiss to catch a breath of fresh air. We looked up and laughed.

"Who knew Waters kissed on the first date, scandalous? Daddy Warbucks won't be to happy to hear about this." He said making me grin at him.
