I kiss him back and then he pulls me into his lap both of his hands resting on my hips I pull away " I shouldn't have done that" I say I regret I stand up and start to walk out when I get pushed against the wall grunting

I walk out and too the betting den when I do I met with brown dreamy eyes he nods I nod back and go sit in dads office and sit down " where have you been" i shrug my sholders " out on a walk why" he just looks at me when the door opens I see Issac and jay " mr Shelby can we take Maisie" he nods " bring her to the garrison at ten" we leave and go to the cut and smoke

" Maisie" I turn around and see my uncle John and dad as well as pol looking at me I look at Chris " shit" I walk out slamming the door. I walk to the boneyard and sit there I see isiah sat there too " so we arnt gonna talk about anything you kiss me and weeks later you ignore me" I shake my head wiping my tears " not right now isiah please I can't right now" I hear movement and a hand on my arm I look and see isiah " look at me what happened" I shake my head and let my tears fall " I'm going to see my mum if my dad asks"

I walk to the grace yard and crouch infront of her stone " he's back and he's not leaving I kinda blurted everything out I'll go back later and hope dads calm enough" I kiss her stone and walk around for a while till it turns dark I walk home and see dads car in the drive I walk straight to the livingroom taking my coat off and throwing on the back on a chair and sit down with my head in hands " gonna talk right now maisie Shelby I swear" I lift my head up leaning it backwards looking at the ceiling and nod

" you and uncle John and Arthur had gone to London for the month big business and me and Chris had a thing blah blah blah" i sigh " he hit me so I hit him it got worse till he got his punching rings and punched my collar bone I screamed in pain I couldn't fight and then it got worse I called mum and she took me to the hospital " a tear slid down my face " they put metal in my collar bone I was on morphine till the day before you got back and all the bruising went down I begged mum not to tell you and Chris disappeared" I look at dad and se eh I'm looking at me

" so it wasn't really a big deal I just stayed out of eye sight and he just keeps coming back I just" I wipe my face and I look at dad before standing up and walking to my room and shut the door I fall asleep

When I wake up someone is shaking me " fuck off does no one let me sleep" I turn over when a lamp gets switched on " wanna come horse riding" I open my eyes and see dad with a smirk on his face i nod quickly "I'll meet you at the door hurry up" I nod me leaves I put a shirt on and boots then run downstairs and see the horses on the drive I smile running out

" give me my fucking horse" i jump on my horse swinging my leg over " no saddle" dad asks I shake my head " let's do this"
