Maisie's pov

I'm sat in the big house in the libary everyone is busy today thank god because really don't wanna speak to anyone if-

I look up and see dad walk in shutting the door i sigh standing up " sit your ass back down now" he says sitting in a chair opposite me " what dad" I say sitting back down he leans back in his seat

" show me your arms" he looks me dead in the eyes. I just stay completely still as panic runs through my body " maisie show me" he says leaning forward I get up as fast as possible and run to the door and go to open it and it's locked " maisie we arnt leaving this room till you show me" I just tuck on the door

" nothing for you to see dad let me out" I shout turning around to face him " so show me" he says walking towards me. I back into a wall and he grabs my hand " dad let go please let go" I shout as I try get him off. He pulls up my sleeve and I look away the whole room goes silent

" maisie-" I just look at the floor letting tears fall. He steps away and I pull down my sleeve he unlocks the door and I walk out and barge past whoever was in my way then went to my room and shut the door and slide down it crying

After a few hours I change into a dress shirt and I hear cars pull up I sit on my window cill smoking I see pol and Ada get out Ada looks up at me and smiles I give her a little wave before opening my window and getting into bed

I hear laughing and people being loud I turn over and see dad sat on a chair " why's everyone being loud" he shrugs lighting a cigarette I get up and walk to the window shutting it before putting on a blazer and putting my hair in a pony.

We walk downstairs and dad takes us into the kitchen " we need to clean your cuts before they get infected" i nod and I sit on the table as I take off my blazer and he puts whiskey on a cloth and I hiss "there deep" i hun in response and he puts a bandage on them
