I wake up the next morning with the worst head ache not to set don't drink a whole bottle of the strongest rum in the house

I get up and dressed before walking downstairs I see everyone downstairs I go to the kitchen to find medicine " how's the hangover" I hear Ada her heals click against the floor " Ada stop walking your making my head worse" she laughs I finally find the medicine and take it

" family meeting" I roll my eyes and regret instantly "mum not going I need sleep update me after" I go pat everyone and to the wall at the front of the property and sit on it

I breathe in the fresh air. I hear a dog I look and see cirral barking in the distance I smile and stand up running to them " cirral hey handsome" I say dropping to my knees so he can kiss my face " so no hug for me" I look up and see Alfie and smile

I hug Alfie " why are you here" he shrugs " I bought a house 5 minutes away" I smile as we start walking again towards the house and when we get there he goes into the meeting I run to my room hopefully to sleep when I open the window I fall straight asleep

I wake up to loud footsteps down the hall but I can say my head ache is mostly gone I get up and put my shoes on going downstairs I see Isiah and fin sat with Ada and dad " where have you been" dad asks as no sit next to him

" asleep" I yawn as I put my head on his shoulder I hear claws I jump up and go find him in the kitchen " cirral coke here boy" his tail goes back and forth and I get a ball as I take him out on the field

" go fetch boy" I shout and he runs fast after it get dark we go back inside and sit by the fire in the living room and Alfie walk in " we are leaving now" I put my bottom lip out and cuddle cirral " why now please" he shakes his head and I frown

We wave them off as they was down the drive and home. I walk inside " Maisie you haven't seen my new bottle of rum have you" my eyes widen " no why"no say scratching my head. He looks at me

" 5 seconds to run" he says I hesitate but run up the stairs " dad listen we can figure this out"no say taking a sharp turn I hear him on my heel " no that was brand new" he shouts I laugh

" gotta admit it was nice" I run down the side stairs and laugh as I trip and fall over dad walk over with a smirk on his face

" nice was it" I laugh " yes please don't ti" he cuts me off my tickling my ribs " d-dad p-please I'll -g-get you another" he stops and I try get my breathe back and he helps me up

" buy me a new bottle" I nod as we walk to the living room and sit down " I'm gonna be going when your asleep but I'll be back in the morning" I nod and I lay my head in his lap he plays with my waves " you really need a hair cut"no scoff "dad I don't everyone else's hair is boring" he laughs

When I next wake up I'm getting shaken awake " wake up now" polly growls I groan as she opens the curtains i walk downstairs in my pyjamas thy consists of short and one of dads sleeping tops I sit on the couch while everyone looks at me " can't believe you Maisie"

John complains and moves further away from me like I'm a disease " maisie it's not true of corse it's not is it squirt" Arthur says I don't look at him

As I thought it couldn't get any worse dad walks in " well morning to you lot aswell" dad says laughing " Tom we need to talk" dad shakes his head I let a tear fall I wipe it as fast as I could " no pol I'm busy" prolly rolls her eyes

" maisie is gay" the room goes quiet and dad looks at me

I just look at my fingers picking at the nails it's so super I can hear the bloody summer wind " Tommy it's true I caught her kissing a girl and then Ada caught a girl leaving here fixing her make up and -" John goes on and dad cuts him off

" I don't care if she's gay" he shouts at pol my tears just fall " I care if she's loved I care if she's happy" he looks around at our family " and that is what you should care about" he points at polly and John I sniffle wiping my nose

" what is wrong with youse that you don't" everyone is stunned at dad John and polly storm out the house as well as everyone else the dispurse

I stand up to leave but dad catches my arm " maisie listen it doesn't change my look of you youe still my daughter and I love you nothings changed" I shake my head
