Maisie's pov

I wake up and shower and change into ^picture above^and I walk down and groan hearing noise and I see my boots are not where I put them I walk into the living room " before you ask they are in clean and in your room behind the door" I groan and walk over sit beside him and John ruffles my hair I jab him in the ribs " fuck off john to early for your shit" she phone rings I get up

And I run to it picking it up and falling on the floor in my back "hello what do you want" I hear pol laugh " tell Tom we are on our way you okay" " I am I just fell ill go tell dad bye" I put the phone down and stand up I shout " dad pols on her way and we need a new phone" I hear him laugh " go put shoes on Maisie" I run upstairs put my shoes on and brush my hair and put my necklace on that mum bought me when I turned 14 and my ring dad bought that says fuck off

I laugh putting them on and I walk downstairs into the livingroom I pick up my book from the table I turn around and see pol " morning Maisie" I hug her and she strokes my back " pol I'm gonna fall asleep" she pulls away grabbing my face " how long did you sleep last night" I pull away from her grip and John and Arthur and everyone else walk in I grab my book and walk to the bigger kitchen in the basement I sit on the side reading the rest of my book

" family meeting in the dining room" i nod and we walk to the dining room I sit down next to pol " we need to talk" i nod and fiddle with my ring I block out most of the meeting five minuites before it ends and I grab my coat and leave the house I walk to the cut "hey Maisie send you ment to be at the meeting" I nod " yeah but to many meeting for me can't be bothered anymore" he nods and walks away I light a cigarette

Flashback

I walk in the house after being out all day I see mum in the living room I kiss her cheek and sit next to her " have you been smocking" I shake my head "nope but I did go to the cut earlier with fin and isiah" she laughs and I move closer and put my head in her lap " don't lie Maisie your dad can't either" i laugh " sorry I won't do it again it was horrible" she plays with my hair as she gives me a lecture in smoking
End of flashback

" Maisie" I look and see pol outside her car I walk over to her putting out my cigarette " we need to talk mais" I shake my head "I'm okay pol I am we've had this conversation tons of times" she looks at me with her eyebrows raised " okay remember the last time you said that" she grabs my arm pulling down my sleeve seeing the scars I snatch it out of her hand " pol please I just I don't want to talk about it" She shakes her head

"Your dad knows" I snap my head up looking at her " what does he know pol what does he know about" I say getting angry and confused " he knows about you being blue well as we call it fin accidental told him listen just talk to him" I shake my head " I'm not talking to anyone because I don't need to I'm okay I'm perfectly fine you saying this isn't making it okay pol"I shout walking away from her to the big house

When I get in I go straight to the gardens and walk around them till I calm down and walk back in I see dad in the kitchen "hey Maisie your ment to with the boys" I nod " okay bye" I walk out and down to pols " where are the boys have no idea what I'm doing" she drags me inside and upstairs to my room when I stay over " I wanna see your wrists" I roll my eyes "for god sake pol I haven't done it again I promised I wouldn't and I haven't" she nods " so you won't mind showing me then"

I roll up my sleeves and show them to her " that's new Maisie I'm not stupid" I pull them back down " it was when mum died I stopped as soon as I knew what I was doing okay I promise it just been difficult I'm trying for dad but everywhere I go I just miss her" I sit on the side of the bed pol sits next to me and holds my hand " I know your dad does to he tries and makes himself okay because when he sees you his life lights up he lives you Maisie" I nod and hug her when we hear shouting

We get up and I run downstairs I see dad shouting at someone " we needed you ten years ago you walked out so get out" I move around and see a man my uncles and fin and dad pulls me to stand beside him " hello Maisie" the man looks down at me I guessing it's dads dad " hi" I spat at him he goes to ruffle my hair I grab his wrist  " don't touch me" he scoffs and turns around do face me fully " I've been in liverpool someone called Chris dixon he says he knows a Maisie Shelby" I walk out slamming the door and walk to the cut
