Getting out

I wait downstairs and hear maisie being loud as ever walking down the stairs " be any louder" I laugh at her as she comes into view and she nods at me before laying on the couch "I'm so bored" she complains

" I have an idea come with me to work" she is reluctant but nod so we get in the car and we make basic talk "isn't there a party soon" I nod at her " yes there is at the garrison for fun and for John having yet another baby" she laughs and we get to the den

" think I might stay" she says sinking further into the seat I roll my eyes " out now don't make me drag you out" she laugh

Maisie's pov

Dad drags me out of the car and I look around everyone is looking " show them who Maisie Shelby really is" I no taking a deep breathe

We walk in me after dad and we go to his office and I sit down on the spare chain playing with my rings " polly and John have been trying to apologise" I shrug " actions speak louder than words dad you taught me that" he nods and I see fin and Isiah open the door

" garrison now lets go" he nods and we go into the snug " water" the boys nod as we sit down and talk for a bit "why the water" I hum " not allowed to take any medication or drink or smoke so fin put it out while we are in here" he mumbles a sorry before putting his cigarette out

" why" fin asks " youse know what happened my body's still recovering so it doesn't need any more damage as dad says" they nod we stay there for a while till we go back and I walk through the den and everything gets to much I walk into pols kitchen leaning over the counter

" you okay" pol asks I nod taking a deep breathe " listen maisie I'm sorry your dad right I should have put your feelings fist and let you talk to me" my brain feels like exploding.everything is too much

I let my tears fall till sobs fall from my mouth two arms wrap around me " I know I know" I slowly wrap my arms around her " it's okay"

It's esme pol must have left when I wasn't listening " it's okay breathe okay" I nod as a put my head on her shoulder " it just to much" I mumble she rubs my back " come on let's get you sat down and let's talk we haven't in a while" I nod we sit at one of the tables the den is nearly empty

We sit down " so how's things been" I shrug " okay I guess I've been okay after what I did to everyone how's the new baby" she smiles at me " she's gorgeous and health thank god it was long as hell" I smile at her

" so who has been in your bed" my eyes go wide " no one" I hide a smirk and same tickles me " tell me maisie" I laugh loud and she countinues till I stand up out of breathe " no one no one is in my bed" the door opens and in walks Ada I hug her

" hey you didn't expect to see you" I smile " maisie has someone in her bed tickle her" I back away from them and they tickle me " this isn't fair I'm the most ticklish person" i say inefween breathes

They stop and I sit up on the floor and the surgery where they cut me open starts to hurt "ow" I wince standing up " maisie you okay" Ada asks I nod

I lift up my shirt and see the stitches are red " omg what is that wait did-" I shake my head telling them to shush before putting my top down " they had to cut me open to flush my system" they nod and I lay on pols couch

Toms pov

I hear her laughing and I sigh in relief " she's happy Tom" I nod at polly as her and John and Arthur are sat in my office " thank god"

I hear heavy footsteps and see Ada maisie and esme messing around " she should be bloody careful" I mutter as they tackle her and tickle her

" she's the most ticklish person ever" John mutters I hum " I've said sorry I don't know if she was listening" pol says I nod " I'll speak to her as she's stubborn and stuff has happened she'll forgive" they nod and I hear the den has gone quiet

" I'll go check on her" John says I shake my head " I'll go let's hope she hasn't fell asleep" I get up and walk out the den I see her on pols couch asleep " maisie" she hums still asleep " maisie princess wake up" she waves her hand at me telling me to go " I'll get you a chippy if you get up"

She shoots up nearly head butting me " can't believe you" I mutter she rubs her eyes " the suit you picked out is upstairs we are getting ready here" she nods before walking upstairs

" where's she" Isiah and fin ask walking in I point "upstairs getting ready why" they smile and shrug "nothing at all just feel like I wanted to know" they walk of smiling I roll my eyes at boys

" Tommy go get ready" Ada pushed me upstairs I hear a annoyed huff from Maisie's room. I knock on the door " are you okay" " the chain won't clip its pissing me off" I walk in laughing

I get changed into a suit like Maisie's minus the belt and my top is an actual shirt. I hear Maisie heavy foot steps running down the hall " Alfie is cirral here" she shouts and I hear her storm back upstairs indicates he's not

There's a knock at my door " come in" I say put toning up the last button " dad you need for tell Alfie cirral has to come to him and cirral are like a package deal" I laugh at her and I grab my blazer so we both walk out and downstairs and I say hi to Alfie
