(Jade's pov)

I groaned as the sound of the rain outside only got heavier.

I sighed heavily, slightly envious of the three sleeping woman next to me.

Especially my girlfriend.

I knew she needed her sleep but I'd still prefer it if I could cuddle her.

The side of the room lit up before another loud clap of thunder sounded and I whined.

There was nothing for it, I was going to have to wake Leigh.

I'd gotten out of bed, as so not to disturb her but I didn't want to be alone with only my fear anymore.

Before I could wake her though, the sounds outside got even louder, I heard a massive boom and I screamed. 

Waking Leigh up.

But surprisingly not Perrie and Jesy.

Although while Perrie sleeps like a log, considering the way she had her arms wrapped around Jesy, I doubt Jes, would've wanted to get up if I had woken her.

"Jadey? Baba?" Obviously Leigh had realized I wasn't beside her.

"Leigh."  I whispered.

"Baba, what are you doing out of bed? Cuddle me!" She pouted, dragging out her last few words.

I shook my head, my legs felt like jelly from the fear spreading through my body.

"Bubs?" She got out of bed and went over to me. "Baby-"  Suddenly another crash of thunder sounded and I squealed and leapt into her arms.

She pulled me closer to her and started to soothe me, almost automatically stroking my hair and pressing a few kisses to the top of my head.

"Honey, are you scared of the thunderstorms?" She questioned softly.

I nodded burying my head in her neck.

"You didn't tell me, you could've woken me up if you needed me." She murmured into my hair.

I shook my head, before pressing my lips to her neck. "I didn't want to disturb you."

"Baby, you wouldn't have disturbed me. Now come on, let's see if I can help calm you down, okay baba?" I nodded as she helped me up.

"Right babygirl, come on, let's go downstairs." She smiled and led me downstairs.

"Why are we down here?" I asked.

"To distract you." She picked me up and sat me on the kitchen counter.

Another thundering noise and I screamed, my arms wrapping around her again.

"Bubba." She said quietly.

I whined, as I didn't want to let go.

"Honey,I'm just going to make you some tea, sweetheart. It's okay." I sighed and unwrapped my arms from around her.

Just as she gave me the tea though,I heard another loud crash and all the lights went out eliciting another squeal from me as I jumped, almost spilling the tea.

"Leighly?" I called out.

"Hey baby." She put a hand on my back. "Give me a sec."  She felt around for something until she found her phone, then a dim light lit up the space next to me.

Leigh was then next to me. She frowned as the storm outside still hadn't stopped and therefore I was still on edge.

She offered her hand to help me down from counter pressing a kiss to my forehead when I whined again.

She just led me over to the sofa, sat down and pulled me into her arms, so I was now effectively sitting on her lap.

She must've thought of something else then 'cause she gently moved me off her lap (making me pout) and stretched out along the couch, then pulled me back into her arms, so we were spooning. 

"Now we won't disturb the girls and I can hold you." She smiled.

"About time," I joked. "How late is it?"

"Way too late for us to still be awake."

I hummed, leaning back in her arms. "Love you Leighly."

"Love you too Jade." She kissed the top of my head again just before I fell asleep.

And when I woke up in the morning to an oblivious to last night Perrie, asking us why we were down here as storms don't disturb her with a blissfully relaxed Leigh next to me, I was happy that, thanks to Leigh, last night hadn't been a complete nightmare.
