Honeymoon. (Leighade)

AN: I just want to say the amount of research me and @Lilmama1964  (my book is now just a collaboration with her, honestly! 😂) did for this is insane! Anywayy enjoy! 

(Jade's pov)

As I walked into the hotel, one hand intertwined with Leigh's and the other holding on to my luggage, I sighed in relief.

We'd traveled to St Lucia for our honeymoon and while it is lovely here, it's a nine hour flight from London and the family behind us had two twin babies who wouldn't stop crying. When one stopped the other started so I had no chance to get any sleep.

Leigh signed us in and we went to our room. As soon as we entered, I flopped onto the bed.

Leigh chuckled slightly at my dramatics before going over to the window and gazing at the view.

After a few moments of silence she went "Babyyyy."

I knew what she wanted "Not now Leigh-Leigh."

"But babe, we just arrived! I want to take some pictures."

"Leigh no. I look like shit and I'm absolutely exhausted."

"Oh shut up. You look gorgeous and it'll only take a minute! Please?"

I looked up. She was pouting , her bottom lip sticking out slightly, while she gazed at me with her gorgeous dark chocolate coloured eyes.

"Oh my god, Leigh. I groaned, getting off the bed.

"Yay! Thank you baba!" She squealed, hugging me.

She grabbed my hand and led me over to the window.

She struck a pose and I let out a low chuckle before leaning over to kiss her jawline, just as she took the picture.

She smiled and laughed pushing me away.

"Aww, we look so cute!" She gushed, looking at the picture.

"That's because you are." I muttered.

She smiled "As are you." She responded.

"Now can we sleep?" I asked.

"Okay." She rolled her eyes playfully but yawned while doing so, making me laugh.

We got ready for bed and I curled up into her embrace as usual, reaching my hand up to play with her curly hair.

"Nanite, Leigh-Leigh." I mumured.

"Night Jadey." She kissed my forehead and I drifted off to sleep.

(The next day)

I woke up to Leigh, singing softly as she got ready in the bathroom which is, in my opinion, the best way to wake up.

I got up out of bed and changed before waiting outside the bathroom.

Suddenly I heard a squeal.

"Jade! Gosh I didn't know you were there!" Leigh exclaimed.

I was about to apologize when she said "But I'm glad you are, I need to tell you about my plans for the day."

I raised an eyebrow. "I'm intrigued."

She smiled and sat on the bed. "Right Jade. You know our hotel is rather near to Spyke falls (AN: they're actual waterfalls.) so I thought we could maybe have a walk there."

"Sounds interesting." I mused. "Okay! That'll be exciting."

She smiled that beautiful smile I love and kissed me, her eyes lighting up. "I knew you'd like that idea!"

"You know me well." I grinned before going to get ready in the bathroom.

After we'd got ready we set off on our walk together.

We'd decided to have something to eat, with the view of the waterfalls, but we had quite a walk before that.

Leigh kept teasing me every time I stopped to gaze at the view or take a few pictures.

"Didn't want to take pictures with me yesterday, but you're perfectly happy to take some now?"

"Are you jealous of the attention the view is getting?" I laughed.

"No." She pouted. "I'm just saying, you didn't take any pictures yesterday."

I wrapped my arms around her and kissed her. "Only because I was tired." 

"Fine." She smiled and grabbed my hand again, running ahead.

"Jade, look!" She shouted. I'd stopped again. "What, Leigh I- wow."

There was a beautiful view from where we were standing. I could even see a rainbow.

Leigh put her head on my shoulder but after a few minutes of silence asked. "What's more beautiful? Me or the view?"

"Obviously you, silly." I laughed again, hitting her shoulder playfully.

She rolled her eyes with a laugh before kissing my cheek.

We ate and took even more pictures of the view and us before walking back to the hotel.

As we entered out hotel room it was Leigh's turn to collapse onto the bed as she said "As enjoyable as that was and as much as I love you, that was still a long walk so tomorrow can we just stay here and watch TV or something.

"Okay Leigh." I smiled and kissed her cheek before climbing into bed with her.

"I love you so much Leigh." I smiled as I started to twirl her hair around my finger again.

"I love you too Jadey." She replied.

"I had the best time today." I spoke softly as she was beginning to fall asleep.

"Same here, Jade." She mumbled sleepily.

I smiled at the sight of her drifting off in my arms.

"Sweet dreams, my love. Nanite." I murmured, pressing a kiss to her forehead. "Love you."

"I love you more, Jade."

"Impossible." I finished softly, as soft snores started to come from her.

I leant my head on her shoulder and found myself falling asleep almost instantly after enjoying one of the best days of my life, with my favorite person.
