(Jesy's pov)

"Slow down!" I whined as she bounded up the stairs ahead of me.

Honestly by the difference in speed between us, you'd think our age difference was massive.

"You should speed up." She smiled, coming back down to me, her eyes twinkling however there was still some weakly hidden concern in them. As usual her eyes asked me 'are you okay?' And as usual I glared at her, hoping to rid her of these concerns.

"You know stairs are my biggest enemy if you could-" My words were cut off as she suddenly just picked me up.

"Put me down." I whined yet again.

She just threw her head back and laughed. "No."

These were the kinds of moments I'd wanted us to always have and at the thought they could end soon, I felt quite teary.

"I'm sorry I'm sick. I'm going to leave you first." I whispered into her shoulder.

She shook her head. "You know I don't like it when you say stuff like that, now shut up. We're almost at the top and the view is beautiful."

I just sighed and wrapped my arms around her tighter.

(Jade's pov)

Back at Jesy's house I tried to act like I wasn't worried about her, knowing how much she hates it. However I was worried. She was my best friend.

As soon as we got back home she curled up on the sofa.

"Baba? Would you like me to make you some dinner?" I asked.

"Mm. Yes please, thank you Jadey." She mumbled, already sleepy.

I went and placed a kiss on her forehead hearing her sigh contentedly before I went off to the kitchen.

After I'd made some food, I went back into the living room, hating the fear that raced through my body when I saw her, although I knew she was only sleeping.

"Babes." I went and ruffled her hair, making her wake up.

"Jade." She whined,dragging my name out so it sounded more like 'Jadeeee."

"I made you some food ,lovely." I smiled, sitting down next to her. 

"Thanks Jadey." She gave me a tired smile.

"No problem hun." I sat down next to her, and turned her  favorite show on.

She snuggled closer to me and I smiled, wrapping an arm around her.

She fell asleep again rather quickly after eating and I sighed. Every time she was so quiet and peaceful I found myself being forced to think about life without her. I still didn't know how I was going to manage it.

I felt myself tear up and shook my head, noticing the time. It was later than I thought.

"Love? You need to get up." I shook her shoulder gently. 

She huffed and sat up, realizing she was pretty much on my lap.

"Sorry hun, but it's late and I'm tired." I stood up, pulling with me.
