I Know (Jerrie)

(Jade's pov)

It was twelve at night when she returned.

I heard the door open and I raised an eyebrow as I saw my girlfriend turn on the light.

"Jade! God, I didn't know you were there! You scared me!" She placed a hand over her heart as she stared at me with shimmering blue eyes.

"Perrie Louise Edwards." I deadpanned. "Do you have anything to say?"

"No..."She hummed. "Why?"

I sat up straighter. "Weren't WE supposed to do something today?"

She was visibly confused and I clenched my fists in frustration. "Perrie!"

"What?" She started to tug at her bottom lip with her teeth upon realizing I really was angry.

"Alright Pez. If you still don't understand let me make it clearer. Do the words:  anniversary, three years and love of my life, mean anything to you?"

Perrie's eyes widened as the realization finally hit her. "Shit...Jade I'm sorry."

"I know." I stated simply, going upstairs.

After about another 15 minutes she followed me upstairs.

She lay behind me and tried to pull me closer, however upon me shaking my head she gave up and just clung to me.

"I really am sorry Jade. I love you." She whispered.

"I know." I whispered a reply, although my heart twanged when I heard her sigh.

(In the morning)

(Perrie's pov)

I woke up after an unrestful night to find Jade's side of the bed empty.

I got up, getting ready in a complete haze.

I went downstairs to see Jade, Sitting at the kitchen table, stirring sugar into her tea.

"Jade I'm-"

"I know you are Perrie! I know you're sorry! But's it going to take a bit more than sorry to fix this!" She snapped.

Hurt, I dropped my gaze to my shoes.

Suddenly my phone pinged.

I picked it up, confused.

Leighly 👸: Pezza? Are our meet-up plans still on?

Shit! With me and Jade fighting or more, her staying silent and sad and making me feel even more guilty, I'd forgotten I was supposed to meet up with Leigh.

Something tells me Jade won't miss my presence today though.

Me: Of course! Sorry I forgot. Be there in ten!

I went cautiously nearer to Jade and she made eye contact with me before presenting her cheek for a kiss. I kissed her cheek nervously before leaving.

"Pezza!" Leigh rushed towards me for a enthusiastic hug as soon as I arrived.

"Leighly!" I smiled as she hugged me tightly, me hugging back.

"So sorry to bring relationship problems into this but-" I started as I took a seat at the cafe, we'd planned to meet at.

"Pez? What have you done?" She asked.

"Why do you assume it's me?" I asked, slightly affronted.

"The guilt in your eyes." She shrugged.

"Well I mean...you are right. It is my fault..." I started and she smirked slightly.

"Knew it. So Pezza, what did you do?" She hummed.
