(Leigh's pov)

I sighed, running a hand through my hair as I waited for Jesy.

She was supposed to be home for our movie night an hour ago.

I started to drum my fingers on my leg as I started to get annoyed.

Wait...She said she had a lot of work recently didn't she? Maybe this is just my fault, for scheduling our movie night at the wrong time.

I sighed again and before I knew it, I found myself falling asleep.

I woke up on the sofa to Jesy coming in.

I turned to look at the clock and frowned. It was half past one in the morning.

"Hey Jes." I gave her a small smile. "You missed our movie night." 

Her expression turned to one of alarm.

"Shit! Leigh, I'm sorry baby. I forgot." 

"It's fine." She really seemed genuinely sorry.

Jesy went up to bed and I was about to go up as well when my phone rang.

I looked at the ID. It was my best friend, Jade.

"Hey Jadey." I smiled.

"Hey Leigh. You okay?"

"Yeah. Why wouldn't I be?" 

"Well did she show up on time?"

"No. But-"

"Leigh."

"But, Jade! She had a late night at work, and I must've scheduled it at the wrong time. It's-"

"Leigh-Anne! Listen to me! Don't you dare say this is your fault. It's all her fault! I can almost guarantee she was out partying or some shit, that's why she wasn't here. You're trying to convince yourself things are okay when they're not, when all of this is her fault for being a crappy girlfriend."

"No, no Jade. This is MY fault."

I heard her sigh. "Leigh-Leigh...look we'll talk about this more tomorrow. Just go to bed. I love you babes."

"Love you too hun."

I sighed again, getting up and going to bed.
