Time passes, and I grow to be pregnant. At the sound of my news, Laurance was bound to throw a party from his excitement. It wasn't until after the child's birth that any form of celebration occurred. I feared too much that I could possibly lose the child.

I gave birth to an heir. Laurance and I were overjoyed to know that Meteli was to have an heir and how happy the kingdom was. They threw their own type of celebrations and parties. Then, a mere two years later, I gave birth to our daughter.

Meteli has gone under numerous types of changes. Now, to the kingdom, they considered Meteli to be "New Meteli" with how much has changed from Hayden's to Laurance's rule.

After the wedding Hayden was trialed. As strange as it was to go against a king, we managed to win against him. We haven't seen him since.

The first few months of our marriage were hectic. I rarely saw Laurance because he would constantly throw himself into his work. Hours on end he would sit in his study reading over documents and signing his name if he approved. From my window I could see Meteli slowly changing from everything he had done. Now, they're soaring in happiness.

Now, we're happier than ever. Laurance learned a good flow of how to take care of his work and is able to spend time with both myself and or baby. He doesn't work long hours anymore and instead finds himself having more leisure than work on some days. Those days are our happiest.

Sometimes we go into the kingdom to observe what is happening and to talk to whomever wishes to speak to us. It's typically a great amount of people.

In my honor, Laurance and I worked diligently to help give a better budget to the orphanage. While Hayden ruled, he overlooked the orphanage and gave them little money to help keep themselves running. Laurance has managed to gain both money, and more people living within Meteli, so doing things like this is manageable. We have even given more funds to public places like libraries, and even more books. Meteli has certainly taken a full 180. So much so that we're thanked. People are genuinely happy.

Of course we don't have as much money and space as O'Khasis and Scaleswind, but we make do with what we have.

Now, it's a few years in the future from our wedding on Christmas Eve. We've been thankful enough to have family travel from near and far to celebrate with us.

"It's been too long since we last visited," Alex says, looking around the palace and towards the Christmas tree. She smiles, watching as servants place the gifts they brought under it. "Meteli seems to be thriving when we drove in. Could we walk through tomorrow?"

Laurance laughs at this and looks towards the window. The kingdom is brought to life with music and lights everywhere you turn. There's a large tree in the center decorated to resemble a large Christmas Tree.

I watch as the children run around each other, playing and giggling. I don't mind the volume. I know they don't see each other as often as I wish they would. But when you rule a country, it can be hard to take a vacation somewhere else for a little while.

"That was my original plan," Laurance says, smiling softly. I can see his reflection slightly in the window. He looks incredibly handsome. "We never did it with father, and Y/N and I have been doing it since we married. They enjoy it, and this time they can see us all again."

Cadenza claps her hands together in excitement. She glances over to the children in pure glee before looking back at Laurance. "I think that's a marvelous idea! The four of us together again for them to see, and the life we have all created. Each with an heir to continue on our legacy."

I feel a child hold onto my skirts and look down to see my youngest. She smiles up at me shyly before I pick her up and hold her in my arms. "I think proper introductions are due. It appears this little one is a bit shy from the last visit."

Laurance laughs and walks over to the both of use, gently tickling her side and watching her shift in my arms and giggle.

I adore the way Laurance is with the children. Even when he's annoyed or had a hard day at work, he throws that all behind him in order to show the children all the love and affection they could ever wish for.

He's an amazing father. Laurance constantly tells me how he intends to be different from Hayden and care for his children instead of viewing them as a political gain.

The children rush back over to us once called, and it's clear to see we've all gotten to work. Cadenza currently has three children: two boys and one girl. She's with children right at this moment. Alex has two: one daughter and one son. Her and Vylad have considered trying for a third. And Laurance and I, well, we have our two as of right now. Who knows what the future holds for us.

They dash off to play once again. With adult supervision, we've allowed for them to play outside in the snow.

I hold onto Laurance's arm as I watch them play their hearts out. They'll most certainly be easy to put to bed tonight.

"Do you think we'll be remembered?" I whisper, looking over to Laurance. I can see my own breath as we speak.

"In the history books?" He asks resulting in a nod from me. ". . . Maybe. I don't know if it'll be in a positive light, or even if it's consisting of everything we've kept a secret. But we're bound to be in there somewhere."

Third Person's POV

"Alright, today we will be touching on the Zvahl Royalty. If you'll open your books to page 194, we can get started."

The sound of pages being flipped and books being dropped in desks rings throughout the classroom.

The teacher seems excited to teach this unit, or, this era. So much time had passed since that Christmas Day with the three royal siblings and their partners.

Somehow, in some way, historians were able to learn more about Y/N pre-royalty and about Alex's scandal. They learned so much more through letters and diaries. Through written documents in the male's handwriting. Portraits saved and more added onto. The family tree grew from that point and somehow diminished from being a monarchy.

Unknowingly, a few students in that class were related to the royal family in some form. They acted just like them all.

The teacher smiles softly when he opens his book. He found this to be interesting himself. "There was a turning point between King Hayden's and King Laurance's rule. It's actually a few years before Laurance's coronation where we'll begin and where it truly get interested. I think you'll enjoy this as much as I do. It's full of scandals, run always, secret letters, love, and someone faking royalty."
