Anna and Jax had a relationship that everyone knew was doomed from the start, but neither listened to any kind of reason only blinded by the love that they shared. She wasn't sure when things had changed, the only thing she did know was that when Jax had left her alone all those week ago she'd found comfort in the arms of another man. John resembled Jax in many ways aside from the obvious things, like all the good she saw in him and the gentle side of the man she married only a year ago.
A friendship between coworkers had quickly turned into something so much more than she'd known it would at the time. After another dinner the two shared they decided like many other nights to return to the house Anna shared so many memories with her husband. Unbeknownst to her Jax was on his way home after another long run with the club, a way to surprise her and hopefully find a little forgiveness for everything he'd put her through.
Walking into the quiet house a smile tugging at his face when he noticed the candles lit throughout, it felt good to finally be home and see his wife. The smile faded as quickly as it had come when he heard the distinct sounds of her voice moaning another man's name, coupled with the clothes that littered the floor nearing the hallway. "Anna! What the fuck is this?" Jax screamed in pure, blinding rage. The man whom he'd never seen before removed himself from on top of his wife, looking absolutely petrified by the appearance of Jax.
Anna couldn't say anything only staring at her husband's face a mixture of pain, and disbelief as to what he'd walked in on. "Get your shit and get the fuck out of my house before I put a bullet between your eyes." Jax roared inches from John's face. Scrambling to gather his things from the various parts of the house, running to his car completely naked aside from the bundle of clothes covering his lower half. "You just going to sit there, or fucking explain to me what you've been doing?" He asked now directing his anger at his guilty wife.
"You're never here Jax, I never meant for it to happen like this." Anna said moving to cover herself with the blanket. "It wasn't meant to go this far, Jax I'm sorry." She said after a long silence between the two of them. Jax was beside himself as he paced back-and-forth in front of the bed, hands running through his golden hair tugging at it to stifle the heart break he was feeling. "You're a fucking lair Anna, you knew exactly what you were doing." He yelled again. "Fucking another man, in our goddamn bed! And I'm supposed to think it was by accident it just happened?" He questioned still screaming at the top of his lungs.
"If you weren't gone so much then maybe things would have been different." Anna yelled back grabbing her robe from the door. "I'm doing all this to keep you safe, how do you not fucking get that?" He screamed hitting the wall behind him. "Neglecting your wife is supposed to be seen as trying to keep me safe?" Anna scoffed shoving past him and into the bathroom. "Arrogance doesn't suit you, sweetheart, I'm not the one in the fucking wrong. You just had another man on top of you, balls deep Anna." He told her his cocky demeanor coming into full affect.
"Maybe if you did it a little more often I wouldn't have had to seek it elsewhere, ever think of that Jackson?" Anna retorted just as cocky. That was the final word before Jax completely lost his temper, striding over to the closet ripping all of her clothes from the hangers. "What are you doing? Stop, Jax stop we can talk about this." Anna yelled after him as he made his way to the door. The rain was coming down hard against the concrete outside as he threw the arm full of clothes into the grass.
"Jax, babe stop, please." Anna pleaded while he continued gathering her things from his house and tossing them alongside her clothes. "I love you, please just listen to me." She pleaded again while following him trying to no avail to slow him down. "You love me, fucking another guy in our bed definitely proves that Anna." Jax scoffed shoving past her to finish what he'd started. After he'd rid his house of any trace of her or their relationship, Jax grabbed her purse and keys placing them in her hands.
"Get the fuck out of my house, I'm done Anna, done." He told her more calmly now. "You can't just put me on the streets Jax, we can work this out." She begged in nothing but her robe. "No, we can't. You bringing a guy home isn't something I can get past, now get out." Jax stated lifting her up by her shoulders and onto the porch outside. Closing the door in her face as she reached to place a hand on his chest, locking it before she could get back inside. Anna began gathering her things off the lawn outside, haphazardly placing them into her small car to save her things from being completely destroyed.
"Anna, come here." Jax called from the steps. A fleeting glimmer of hope sparked in her chest when she heard him call her name, thinking he'd rethought his hasty decision to kick her out. "I forgot." He stated taking her keys from her hand. Removing his house key from the others with a smirk on his face, placing them back in her hand and returning inside his house.
After that night they had no communication with one another, the club had obvious taken Jax's side in all of this. Anna still holding out hope that she could fix this, undo all the damage she'd inflicted on their relationship but all that was dashed when Opie dropped off the divorce papers on her desk without a word. In hindsight she knew it could only end one way but she still hadn't prepared for the fallout of her stupid choice, alone for the first time in her life. Even John wanted nothing to do with her after he'd realized just who she'd actually been married to, too afraid to even look in her direction.
