Kelcey had a rough life and Chibs knew that all too well, she'd grown up with a man that was supposed to be her protector, the one man that was to love her the most in the world, but most importantly her father. Michael was none of those things, an angry drunk that did nothing but hurt her with any opportunity given to him. But Kelcey was sweet, kind, caring all the things that she'd never been shown in her 21 years emanating a light that any person could see.

Being given the order to rid the world of him was an easy one for Chibs to carry out, but the more he thought about his friendship with Kelcey he was conflicted. Would she hate him for what he had to do? He wasn't sure but it had to be done, not only for the safety of the person he had come to love but for the debt he'd wracked up with the club. Michael wasn't just a sloppy, aggressive drunk but a compulsive gambler that had borrowed thousands from SamCro in promise he'd replay every penny.

"You ready man?" Happy asked him as they sat outside the familiar house. "Aye, it's gotta be done." Chibs replied pulling the gun from his waistband. With a gloved hand he knocked at the door lightly, waiting patiently for the man to stumble to open it. "I don't have anything for you!" Michael yelled up at the two much larger men. "No? You don't have the 20,000 you owe us yet?" Happy asked mockingly. Shoving him back inside with ease and into the chair he frequently passed out in, pointing his gun down at his head with a look of pure joy.

"I can get it! I promise you I'll have it by next week, please don't do this I'm the only one Kelcey has!" He pleaded hoping they'd show mercy he never gave his only child during his drunken beatings inflicted on her. "Don't you dare say her name, all you've ever done is hurt that beautiful girl!" Chibs yelled growing more infuriated by his use of her as any excuse to get out of the inevitable. Happy knew she meant everything to Chibs, the only reason he'd been so lenient on the frightened man sat down in front of them.

Unbeknownst to both Chibs and Happy, Kelcey was just upstairs trying to clean the cut on her cheek from another punch Michael had thrown only an hour before they'd shown up. "It's ok, he doesn't mean to be so angry all the time." She whispered to herself threw the tears falling from her eyes. "He'll get better one day and I'll have the dad I was always supposed to." Another empty promise she'd keep telling herself until the day she couldn't anymore.

A loud popping sound and the most blood curdling scream coming from her dad ripped her from her thoughts, dropping the blood soaked paper towels into the sink as she ran in the direction of the noises. "Dad, are you ok? Did you hurt yourself again?" Kelcey frantically called as she raced down the stairs. Thinking he'd fallen against something again and was lying across the floor waiting for her to come down to help him. "Dad?" She asked softly seeing him slumped in his chair. Getting closer she could she the blood coming from his mouth, a bullet hole in the middle of his chest and she couldn't breath.

Sucking in air to her lungs as panic set in that he was dead, from who or what she didn't know but as she went to let out a scream a gentle hand was placed in her shoulder. "Kelcey, it's ok I'm here." Chibs said in a soft tone. "What the fuck is going on?" She asked looking up at him. "Just business, Mo ghràdh." He stated pulling her against his chest in a tight hug. "Oh my god, what am I supposed to do?" She sobbed. Kelcey cried mostly from the relief she felt of the weight being lifted from her, feeling guilty that there wasn't a feeling of loss but one of gratitude to the men that had murdered her father.

"You'll come with me, leave everything behind and just grab the things you bring with you every where." Chibs said looking down at her. "Then where do I go? The cops are going to think this was me, Chibs they're going to arrest me." Kelcey frantically said. "No, you've already got an alibi for the entire day I made sure of it. I'll drive you to my house and you'll stay with me, ok?" He smiled kindly, cupping her cheeks in his hands. Kelcey only shook her head in understanding, letting him lead her to her car parked out back.

Once they'd arrived at his house they sat in silence for quite a while, too many questions swirling around her head to think clearly. "Kelcey?" Chibs asked resting a hand on her knee. "Hmm?" She mused softly. "Do you hate me?" He questioned looking for the answer in her eyes. "I could never hate you Chibs, you've always been the one person who I know I rely on. I just feel so selfish for not being upset he's dead, I know I shouldn't feel as happy as I do right now." She admitted with tears in her big eyes.

"You shouldn't feel obligated to have pitty on a man that hurt you so badly, father or not." He told her holding her chin in his hand. "Thank you, I don't know what I'd have done without you all this time." She replied reaching out to hug him. "I'd do anything for you Kelcey, I'm so enamoured with you." Chibs smiled stroking her hair as she nuzzled her face against his chest. "I'm so fucking in love with you Chibs, this probably isn't the best time to say it but I couldn't keep holding it in." She smiled up at him.

"I've loved you for so long, mo mhil." He replied resting his forehead against hers. "Thank you Filip." Kelcey whispered. "For what?" He asked looking into her eyes. "For finally getting me away from him, I couldn't do it anymore." She replied with a sad smile. "Like I said, I'd do anything for you Kelcey. Anything at all." He smiled kissing her forehead. "I love you more than you'll ever know." She smiled up at him. "I love you so much." He replied holding her tightly. "Now that I've got you, I'm never going to let you go. You're stuck with me, ghaoil." Chibs smiled taking her hand in his, placing a kiss to her palm. "Yeah?" She asked with a smirk. "You're going to make me ask, aren't you?" Chibs smiled. "Oh yes, I want to hear you say it." Kelcey smiled brightly. "Will you be my ole lady?" He questioned with a beautiful smile. "Nothing would make me happier than to finally call you mine." She whispered kissing his lips gently.
