Camilla cowards behind her blonde boyfriend as they make their way into the doctors office, checking in and sitting down. He puts his hand on up knee with the palm up signaling for her to hold it and puts his other hand on top hers.
"it's gonna be alright" JJ whispers to her. She nods and wrest his head on her shoulder. "Camilla Thorton!" a doctor calls. The two stand up and follow the doctor into a room.
"I'm Dr Karev what brings you here today?"
Cam stares at JJ who sends her a reassuring smile. "I-I couldn't get out of bed for days. Nothing even happened I just felt so numb..." she admits, JJ rubs her thigh.
The doctor scribbles some stuff down on paper before beginning his incredibly long list of questions.
After almost an hour of head nods and yes and no he said she must just be having a typical teenage depressive episode.
JJ and Cam get in JJs truck "hey at least we know it's not something huge" JJ smiles. Cami shakes her head opening her mouth to state her opinion but stops so she settles with "ya" wresting her head on his shoulder.
They sit in silence for a few minutes. Cam felt so grown up but somehow they where still 17 and going into senior year. Everything felt fake, like a fever dream.
How did she find her soulmate at such a young age. All anyone ever says is that it's just a summer fling or that you can't marry your high school sweetheart but she felt so different. She loves JJ, and JJ loves her.
"I love you" JJs the first to break the silence. "I love you more" she smiles back at the blonde. With that JJ drives off and they go back home.
"wanna go for a boat ride?" JJ suggest as they get out of the car. They hadn't done anything together in over a week. "sure let me change" she smiles.
Even tho she just wanted to curl back up in bed and go to sleep she knew that this meant a lot to him. JJ was always so patient with her so it was only fair that she went with him.
Cam slips on a red bikini that she knew JJ loves with one of his tank tops and comfy shorts.
He beams at her as the hop on the boat, he was in a very good mood.
They drive around the marsh before anchoring down at sun set. Cam stretches out on the boat floor and watches the sun set with JJs head laying on her stomach as she plays with his hair.
After one hell of a long week this is just what they needed. "what should we name our kids?" Cam asks. "I don't know really, something cool. Nothing basic" he shrugs. She smiles "sounds good"
"why do you ask? you pregnant or something?" he asks with pure concern on his face making her laugh. "no you dummy I'm just excited for our future"
"my futures in a jail cell Cam"
The brunette bops him upside the head "stop it no it's not, you're nothing like your shit head of a father." she scolds him harshly. He moves up so they're heads are next to each other "promise you won't leave like everyone else" he pleads.
She rubs her fingers through his hair "you can't get rid of me even if you want to" she smiles, kissing his forehead.
