It's been a few weeks since the incident with Luke. Court was fine, he was sentenced 6 months in jail. JJs been extra worked up about life lately, he really wants to move out and buy our own place.
Other than that it's been a smooth few weeks.
JJs POV (third person)
JJ walks into the chateau "JOHNNY BOY!! POPE" he tells to his friends. All the girls went shopping for the day.
"ya ya we're coming" John B clammers down the hall way. "I'm doing it! Today's the day!" the blonde states. Pope pinches his eyebrows together "you're really gonna propose?" he questions.
JJ nods seriously making John B laugh. "who knew JJ Maybank would find love?" he chuckles while patting his friends back. The blonde rolls his eyes dramatically "let's see the ring" Pope says.
The blonde grins pulling it out of his pocket, it was small, nothing much. But it was perfect. A small diamond is in the center along with some other jewels. "she's gonna love it" Pope reassures JJ. John B agrees "ya dude you're gonna do great"
"we're back!" Camilla yells. The boys jump as JJ shoves the ring in his pocket nervously.
Camilla's POV
"we're back!" I screech as us girls enter the chateau. I watch JJ jump making me laugh. "scared ya much?" I giggle. He shakes his head with a laugh before wrapping his arms around me in a hug, placing a kiss on the top of my head.
Sarah and Kiara make there ways to John B and Pope. It was nice, all of us had our boys. "hey, let's go to the beach tonight. Just us?" JJ asks me. It wasn't necessarily abnormal for him to ask to go to the beach but he seemed nervous. I nod my head signaling that I do.
He smiles and kisses my head once again. Butterflies erupt in my stomach, what could the Maybank boy have planned now?
We all gather around in the living room, eating food and talking. My head wrest on JJ and I slowly drift off to the sound of everyone's laughter.
The last thing I hear is JJ shushing everyone and I feel him carry me into the bedroom before I'm fully asleep.
It must've been hours because I was awoken by JJs soft voice in my ear and kisses being planted on my cheek. "wake up my love, I know you're gonna wanna get ready before we leave" he says to me.
I pucker my lips at him "kiss first?" I whine. He chuckles and kisses me before I get up and go to the bathroom.
Teenage dirtbag plays through my bluetooth speaker and I him along to the beat. JJ wanders into the bathroom "this song?" he chuckles. "yes!" I defend myself with a laugh and smack his stomach.
"ok ok I surrender" he laughs, holding his arms up. The blonde kisses my cheek before getting ready himself. I watch him fumble around with his cologne.
"you never wear that?" I say in confusion. "I just wanna smell good" he stutters. I laugh and ruffle his hair before going back to the bedroom.
The blonde goes into the living room and I hear him mumble something to John B. "watcha talkin about?" I cock an eyebrow. JJ spins around "you" his arm wraps around my waist. "let's go my love" he smiles.
I nod my head, waving goodbye to John B as we walk out the door.
"why are we going to the beach?"
"why not?"
He throws an arm around me as we walk in a comfortable silence. This was the happiest I'd been in a long time. JJ hums a soft tune bringing me a sense of comfort like no other.
If only life could stay like this forever....
