i woke up to a warm mouth full of saliva

and i didn't make it to the toilet

"i better not be pregnant" i huffed starting to clean it with a towel i found

"it's fuck you dumb shit" my youngest brother lorenzo said slapping torrian on the back of his head

"you have been having sex? oh i'm so telling dad" malakai said laughing and threatening me

my big mouth can't keep quiet for a second

"why are you even in my fucking room?" i snapped at them

they all made a short "ou" sound

"that explains the attitude" dante says while shaking his finger and nodding his head at me

my other brothers did the same agreeing with him

i lifted my slipper off the ground

"okay, okay, dad told us to come in here and get you for a family meeting in a couple minutes but you yacked up your meal and confessed your pregnancy" lorenzo said still trying to not get hit by my shoe

"tell him i'll be down in a little, and if you tell him about this i'll kill every one of you, va bene?"

"va bene" they all said pretending to be scared and walked out the room

i am 20
malakai is 24
dante is 23
torrian is 22
and lorenzo is 21

we are forced to live with our parents for obvious mafia reasons

and aren't allowed to have kids without our mafia leader's consent, in my case my father

"fuck it, im gonna take a test" i got up and walked to my mom's bathroom i'm sure she has some somewhere in here regarding how many kids she has popped out

i looked under her sink and easily found a box

i took the whole box

i went back to my room and ran into cain

great way to top off this shit morning

"what" i looked at him

"i didn't even say anything" he looked down

"cant wait to see two lines on that stick bellissima" he smiled with his hands in his pockets walking to the bathroom

i took the test about 10 minutes ago

i'm so scared to look at it

"grow some balls" dante said sitting bored on my bed

"say another word and i'll give you a free vasectomy" i snapped back at him

i walked over to the test "fuck it"

i flipped it

my eyes widened at the results

i was brought to tears

i was so happy, i jumped on dante and hugged him tight

"i'm not pregnant, let's celebrate" i said

"calm down, there is still a family meeting in like 30 seconds" he said walking out my room

"i don't care what bad news my dad was about to bring to us. I'm not pregnant HAH" i celebrated in my room for a little while longer before heading downstairs

my parents and the bianchi's were sitting across from us

of course cain chose to tease and sit beside me

my dad was talking but i didn't really care to listen

i was just so happy that i wasn't pregnant

"mafia ball" is all i really heard

i'm hungry i didn't get to eat yet, i wonder if we can go to the diner aga-

my name was called and i immediately snapped out of my thoughts to look at my angry father

"repeat to me what i said" he knew i didn't know

i smiled while looking at the bianchi's, my brothers, and cain

"uh.. mafia meeting?" i said unsure even if that answer

i knew my answer was wrong

not because my dad said anything

because my brothers and cain were snickering

"since miarelle can't listen properly we have to restart what i was saying" my dad said

he looked annoyed and frustrated

i'm the cause of the gray hairs he has to dye black all the time

"we will be having a mafia ball, our enemies and allies will all be there." he looked at me making sure that i was listening

"there was no available allies" my dad was cut off by my mother

"honey you killed multiple people because you said they weren't good enough for her"

"no i didn't" my dad responds

he obviously did

"anyways, cain and mia will be one of the pairs to the ball, weapons aren't allowed but we will still be bringing them. Keep them concealed." he said the last part stern as ever

"You will all go shopping for your suits and gowns or gown in your case" he pointed to me

"-today. End of meeting" he finished

i know cain was happy

he knows this would get to me

it did but i'm not going to let it ruin my mood

your girl isn't pregnant

"let's go get you a dress" he said breaking the silence

my brother already left and so did mine and his parents

"fine"
