"you're very dramatic, amore mio" he chuckled, placing a warm compress on my stinging arm

i swallowed, not replying

he looked up at me, then back at my arm

"i may have over reacted" he mumbled, applying gel to my arm

i raised an eyebrow

but he didn't have to look up to see

"i did over react"

"i don't like other men touching you mia. Can't you understand my boundaries with you?" he asked

"i understand boundaries, but you snapped his chair" i laughed quietly

"he had it coming" he rolled his eyes, laughing

"alright i forgive you" i said pulling him into a hug

"but if he touches your hair again, i'll make sure it's the last thing he touches" he whispered in my ear, smirking

then pulled away from the hug, kissing me on my forehead

"bye bellissima" he chuckled, leaving my bathroom

i rubbed my eyes, waking up to the birds chirping

i hate birds

all they do is poop and make noise

i groaned, sitting up in my bed

i brushed my teeth, while checking my phone for anything not dry

nope, it's dry

i slid my feet into slippers, walking down the stairs

everyone was setting the table downstairs

by everyone i meant my nonno and nonna

"good morning" i said, rubbing my puffy eyes

"good morning" my nonno replied, setting the last plate on the table

"come eat" he said, sliding a chair out

i looked around for my brothers and cain

"is everyone else sleeping?"

"nope, they left this morning" he took a bite into his pancake

"mafia work?" i raised an eyebrow

"and didn't invite me? I haven't been on a mission in so long" I yelled, frustrated

"i wonder why" my nonna said, rolling her eyes
