"Are you fine gentlemen ready to go?" I come out from my room. James get up.
"Are you you took 100 years to get ready." He rolls his eyes.
"Jamie when we're 100 I'll still be here irritating you. That's what a sister is for and you being the gentleman that you are will still be patiently waiting for me." I smirk at him.
"Can't wait." He rolls his eyes, he playfully shoves my arm. "I'll wait for you outside." He says before walking out. I nod. Steve stands up from the couch.
"You look beautiful Becca." He smiles at me. I twirl in my dress and showing it off to him. "Oh this old thing?" I joke around. He holds his hand out and I smack it and make a run towards the door. I hear him laugh behind me. I make it out first and bucky locks the door behind us.
"We're going to be late." Bucky grabs me and Steve from the back of our necks pulling us into a side hug. We all share a laugh.
"Why are we going to this nerd festival?"
"It's a Expo." He does a dumb smile.
"It's a nerd festival. It's about the future of technology and what not."
"This is going to be fun." Bucky sarcastically says.
"Woohoo" I sarcastically reply with a straight face on. Earning an eye roll from my dear brother.

" College is stupid."
"You know college is a good thing Becca. Mother and father would have wanted you to go to further your education. After highschool that what you'll do." I look over at Steve so he can help me but he turned around not trying to get involved.
"You two didn't go to college." I point out.
"I am in the military,Steve here is trying to get in." I roll my eyes.
"I can be in the military." I put a proud smirk on my face.
"You run from danger. You hate getting in trouble. You hate guns-" bucky was cut of by steve.
"You can't handle being yelled at without crying." He crosses his arms.
I look over at him. " You are sixteen you have two more years of highschool and off to college. You are not going to be a house mom, you are going to be so much more. Your education is going to make sure of that. You have so much kindness so much compassion in your heart, you love helping people. Didn't you once tell me you wanted to be a physician?" I nod at him. "Then be that work hard you can accomplish anything you set your mind to."
"Whatever Rogers." I roll my eyes.
We made it to the "eXpO" there were hundreds of people here.
"Get lost Becca we have a date."James  said grabbing on to a girls waist. She giggles as she presses against him. I put a disgusted face of and turn my attention over to Steve with a smile.
"Let's go get some food Steve." I hold my hand out.
"He has a date as well." Bucky says I turn to look at him with a confused face when he signals me to look to my other side. There was a girl walking towards us with brown hair blue eyes. I look over at Steve with a sympathetic expression.
"Are you sure?" I ask and he nods. I nod as well with a faint smile. "I'll be over there then." I didn't even finish what I was saying when Bucky already had left. Steve smiled at me and I turn to leave.
"Be careful." He says as I leave. I don't turn around. I get to the food stands and order some food and just when I was about to pay someone reaches over and pays for me.
"Oh no, you don't have to do that I-" I turn to see a handsome man with a mustache smiling at me.
"There no need I got it." He is looking at me for way to long.
"Sorry how rude of me.. I'm Howard Stark, and you are?"
"I-I am Rebecca Barnes sir." If only bucky were here he would be shitting himself.
"What is a beautiful face like yours doing here at the Expo alone."
"I'm not here alone  Mr.Stark, I'm here with my brother and his friend. They're right over there." I point out into the crowd of people. In all seriousness I have no idea where James and Steve are but I'm am not about to let another man know I'm here alone and not being watched.
"Who's your brother?"
"Sergeant James Buchanan Barnes sir." He nods pretending like he knows him.
"You know I have been working on a project involving the military maybe one of these days I'll meet your brother." He says.
"I hope one day you do he's a excellent sergeant. He will do many great things I'm sure of it." I praised bucky.
"What do you do?" This is where I'll get him good.
"Im a highschool student." I innocently say. His eyes go wide but he tries to hide his shocked expression. I smile deviously.
"I'm sorry for all the flirtation." I nod.
"Don't worry your secret is safe with me." I laugh.
We spent most of the evening talking about my future studies and his future projects. I was very invested in what he had to say. We were in a building filled with business people. I felt out of place there. He knew I felt uncomfortable he tried to pull me away from the group but I insisted in being in a crowded place. Bucky and Steve have taught me better than being in private with a man I don't know.
Howard waves over at a woman and she walks over.
" Ms.Barnes this is Agent Carter from the secret project I have." I nodded, she extended her hand for me to shake and I gladly took it with a smile.
"Call me Peggy please." I nodded.
The three of us talked and talked. They mentioned something about a serum to make someone very strong and I smiles and nodded like I knew what they were talking about.
"You said your brother was in the military right." Howard looked at me in the eyes.
"Yes sir."
"You see Ms.Carter here is going to be the one recruiting privates over the next couple of weeks with  Dr.Abraham Erskine. We are looking for one individual who can take this project to the next level. Someone who is determined, that has the heart of this nation." He continued talking about the secret project and what it entails.
"I have someone in mind for that." They looked at me surprised. But ushered me to continue. " My  brother's friend he's 25 years old. He's been trying to get into the army but he doesn't match the qualifications. He is the most determined, well minded man I know. He doesn't have the heart of the country; he carries it. He has the strongest mind I know. He was made to be a army men. His physic says other wise though. I've seen him try and try to build muscle but he simply can't."
"What's his physic like?" Howard asks.
"Roughly 90-95 lbs. In height he's about 5 feet 4 inches. He's very skinny. But he has all the expectations you are looking for in a private and if the serum works the way you said it would It could transform him into the soldier he would love to become and you would love to have."
Peggy and Howard looked at each other. Their face said it all. They were shocked to hear what I had to say and they loved my idea. They analyzed each other's face before turning to me.
"You said he doesn't fit the qualifications?" I nod. "So we have to lie and cheat to get him into the army." She looks at Howard once again.
"We have a job for you." Howard says  turning his gaze over to me.
I smile at them. They walk over to a room they had peggy shut the door behind me. Howard on the other hand was sitting behind a desk with a sheet infront of him. He starts filling it out. Peggy pulls out a chair so I sit down.
"We need you to switch the sheet of his physical with this false one." They hand me the paper. "You will need a nurse outfit." I raise an eyebrow.
"No one would suspect a woman to be undercover. Most men don't think women are smart enough. They think of them as fragile. That they wouldn't hurt a fly. I know otherwise. Most of my agents are women." He points over to peggy "She is my number one. Think about it this way if a women comes across a man and they look delicate, innocent they wouldnt even suspect anything from them. They would check them out and be on their way.
"She's a agent that's her duty." I cross my arms.
"Yes that is true,but how would you like to be a secret agent?"
"I'm a high schooler."
"It won't interrupt your studies and you would be trained by Agent Carter."
"Basically you want me to do your dirty work ?" I ask.
"You would be getting paid tremendously well."
"You didn't answer my question."
"Not just the dirty work. Most times its clean work. But very few times it will be dirty. So do we have a deal?" I look over to peggy and she smiles at me.
"I've done this for free at least I'm getting payed for this." I shake his hand.
"I'll write up a contract and send it over with my men there you can review it and add or eliminate things you want. I will agree to anything you want." He says. "I have to go I have a expo to attend to." He fixes his hair and walks toward the door. He stops in his tracks and turns around. "Rebecca make sure you take that sheet with you. That will be your first task. Don't leave without it." I nod. He turns around and leaves . I turn my gaze to peggy and she smiles.
"I can't wait to train you. You show great potential. You charmed Howard and charming that is a asset women need to get there way over men."
"That's one of my specialties. I know how to charm." I smile at her.
"I need one more thing from you." She says. " what's the mans name?" She says pulling the sheet Howard was filling out infront of her.
"Steven Grant Rogers." I say as she signs his name onto the physical sheet. She hands it to me and I put it in my purse.
"This is going to be fun." She says to me and we share a laugh.
