Rebecca's dress.
Today is the day that Peggy gets married to her former not so former now fiance Fred Wells. They rekindled their romance after Steve passed away. He reached out to her and the rest is history.
"Peggy hurry up! You will be late to your own wedding!" I scream as I knock on her door.
Peggy steps out with her dress she looks beautiful.Just imagine the brown hair.
"Peggy." I gasp.
"This is better than what I was expecting." She tears up.
"No don't the makeup." I panic, she let's out a laugh.
She stares at herself in the mirror.
"I always envisioned myself getting married with Steve." She said. My heart ached a little. I nodded my head and rested my chin against her shoulder.
"I know." I said and I took a deep breath."I miss them."
"I miss them too. Can you believe it's been 8 years."
"There hasn't been a day I don't think about them." I said.
"You know I was thinking we should do something for all the fallen soldiers who lost their life fighting the war. You know something with their name like a memorial."
"I love that idea." She smiled.
We heard a hard knock on the door indicating it was her time to walk down the aisle.
"Let's get you married." I grabbed her hands before pulling her into a hug.

Third person POVPeggy and her husband Fred had their first dance as husband and wife. Rebecca stared in awe wishing to one day make that possible for herself.
Over the past few weeks rebecca had been traveling back and forth between Camp Lehigh and Shield. There hasn't been a day that Howard doesn't try to talk to her. She never accepts him in her office and dodges his calls. He has flowers sent to her house everyday.
"I'll be right back I need some air." Rebecca tells one of her female co-workers from shield.
She walked out of the building and went outside for some fresh air, she walk to a garden right outside. Howard kept an eye on her through the very large windows in the building. She walked around reminiscing the last few years of her life and how much has changed. She looked towards the building looking inside to see Peggy looking as happy as ever with her new husband.
Footsteps could be heard from a distance slowly approaching her.
"Who's wedding is this" A voice of a man ringed through her ears.
"Margaret Carter and Fred Wells." She said looking towards the venue.
"Peggy huh." The person sighed. "I owed her a dance." He said.
"Well she just had her first dance with her husband. So I'm pretty sure you've missed your chance." She joked. The man chuckled besides her. She can feel that he hasn't looked over at her as she hasn't looked at him.
"I'm not here for her." The man said. Rebecca nodded her head.
At a distance Howard's eyes didn't leave Rebecca but he couldn't see who exactly she was talking to. The person was being blocked by a tree from where Howard is standing.
"What's your name?" The man asked Rebecca.
"Rebecca." She honestly answered she felt him gaze at her.
"I knew a Rebecca once. Now I long to see her again." His voice felt to familiar to her. She took a chance and turned to look at the man. She felt taken back a bit as tears formed her eyes.
"Stevie?" Rebeccas voice was soft as his blue eyes land on hers.
"Becca?" He stared at her, he scans her eyes and quickly pulled her into a tight hug. Rebecca didn't know how to react she stood there in complete shock, genuinely confused on how he's here after all these years.
Am I finally dead?. Did I just die? Where's bucky? Was the only thing that came to mind at this moment in time.
"H-wh-how are you here?" She mumbled against his chest as she takes in the smell of his cologne it still hasn't changed.
"That is a long story." She pulled away from their hug. "Look at how grown up you are. It's been 8 years..?"
"8 years?" She nods her head at him agreeing."I'm 26 now."
"I'm 39." He says. Rebecca looks at him confused.
"I know you've been gone sometime but I still sing happy birthday for you every year and this year you turned 35."
"It's a long long story Becca." She nods her head believing that he has a logical explanation he wanted to give her. She is still incredibly confused on what is happening.
"Rebecca Barnes." Steve slowly gets on one knee.
"What the fuck." She slowly backed up from him looking at her surroundings.
"I traveled through time met so many different women but still none of them matched you." She's so confused on what is happening.
Am I having a stroke? Was all she could think about. She thought she was dying and this was her happy memory before she died.
"I've never met a women who seen every part of me the way that you have. You were there for me when I would get beaten up in alleys or when I would go on failed dates. You were even there for me when I became this. You always were at my side and wanted better for me and never let me bring myself down. You always were the one for me." She looked st the venue and saw Peggy's face with her husband.
"W-what about peggy." Her wide eyes looked at steve.
"Peggy was always interested in Captain America. Never Steve Rogers."
"Steve I don't kn-" he cut her off
"What if I could promise you that you could see your bucky once again." That caught rebecca off guard. Her heart winced in pain at the thought of her brother.
"Bucky?"
"What if I can take you to him. We can all be together like old times." At this moment Rebecca was sure she was having a stroke.
"Peggy loves you." She slowly backs up.
"She will never see us again."
"What about Bucky?"
"I've talked to bucky."
"You've talked to bucky." She accepted death at this moment.
"Yess he always knew how I felt about you."
"Always?"
"Always. Guess why he never really liked Howard." Rebeccas facial expression quickly changes as Howard came into her mind. She didn't even give him a chance to explain. She won't see him again. Or peggy again but she'll see her brother.
"Marry me Rebecca. Make me the happiest man in this planet." Her heart was beating out of her chest.
Peggy is her closest friend, she loved Steve.
Howard. She didn't know where they stood.
Her brother... she has a opportunity to see her brother again to hug him, talk to him, be with her brother again.
"Yes." She bluntly said.
"Yes?"
"Yes, of course I'll marry you." She felt like she was 16 again. He places a ring on my ringer.
Howard stares at her confused onto all her mood changes.
"We have to go now." He said grabbing her hand and started to run with her.
That's when Howard realized who she was talking to. Steve Rogers. Howard knew he had no chance with her again if he was back. She would take his side no matter who stood against him. Howard felt defeated. He would have to live the rest of his life watching the woman he loves love someone else.
"Where?" She asked Steve.
"Put this on." He hands her a white suit to put on and she does as he tells her to . Very confused If I may add. He grabs her hand and she shut my eyes. He holds her tightly."Welcome back Roger's." She peaked over Steve's shoulder.
She felt eyes on them. Everyone was staring making her feel like a intruder.
"We're here." Steve says grabbing onto my arms. She smiled and looked around at her surroundings, they were in the middle of the woods.
From afar I saw a man in the woods with long dark hair approaching us. The man got closer and finally looked up from the floor and I instantly recognized those blue eyes staring back at me.
"Becca?" His familiar voice was like a stab to my chest. Tears fell from my eyes
"Jaime?"
