"Are you going to ask him today?" Peggy sits down in the chair infront of my desk.
"Yes, I'll go after my shift, so if he says no I can go home and cry." I joke.
"I doubt that he would say no. What do you think?" She turns to look at Luca who came to visit me one last time before he leaves.
"He won't say no." He laughs. I gulp and shake my hands because they were sweating.
"She's nervous." Peggy looks at me awe.
"Shut up." I laugh nervously.
"It's cute. I've never seen her like this." Luca continues to talk to Peggy.
"So I heard that he is planning on giving her, her own office."
"I have a office." They both totally disknowledge me.
"She has a office.
"No like a full medical center. So she can practice medicine."
"Holy shit." Luca and I say in union.
"Bex he's in love with you." Luca turns to me. I smile and look at the clock on my wall. TICK.TOCK
"I can't accept that."TICK TOCK.
"I will if you don't" Luca gives me a sarcastic smile. " I'll relocate my whole life here if it means Howard would give me a medical center." TICK TOCK.
"I am determined to get those two together before my wedding." Peggy changes the subject.

"The week after mine. That only gives up about 4 weeks before mine and 5 before yours." Eight PM hits and I get up from my desk and collect my papers and place them neatly inside of my desk. I grab my coat and purse and look back at Peggy and Luca who were still sitting down talking.
"I'm going ." I smile making them both literally jump out of their chairs.
"I've been waiting for this day for years." Luca tells Peggy.
"Trust me when I say this, so have i." Peggy smiles at Luca.

I walk towards his office and see his secretary was gone for the day. She leaves early now a days because she just found out she's pregnant.
I turn to his office and that when I realized peggy and luca we're still behind me.
"I want to do this alone and not with a audience."
"Not a chance." Luca quickly said.
"We'll stay outside." Peggy quickly says as well. I turn to look at his door and I start to panic. What the fuck am I doing. I start getting butterflies in my stomach. I reach for the door knob but I instantly pull away from it.

"Just walk in." Peggy says behind me. Luca reaches over and opens the door for me and peggy basically pushes me into the room.
"Hey Howard, I ..."
I walk in and my smile instantly fell from my face as I see Howard fucking a blond girl on his chair.
"Becca."
"I'm sorry I didn't-" I look everywhere but at him.i grab the door knob and start backing up. Peggy noticed my sudden change in expression and walks into the room with Luca following behind her. They both see Howard, she grabs my hand pulling me out of the room. Luca grabs me by my shoulder and walks me towards the stairs. I couldn't comprehend what the fuck just happened. He was with someone else.
"Becca wait." I hear Howard yell out.
"That's Agent Barnes to you Howard." Peggy sounded loud and clear."Stay away from her Howard. I mean it." She said before I hear her heels run after me.

We walk out of the building and I take a deep breath. We continue walking until I reach my car.
"Becca." I hear Howard's voice which stings my heart. "Becca please. Look at me."
"She looked at you alright." Luca said opening the door of my car. I step in and turn on my car.
"You should have left her be Howard you shouldn't have pursued her. She's 10 years younger than you. I knew I should have pushed her more towards Luca. Maybe she would have been happy and getting married with him instead of dealing with a bloody imbecile that you are. Let her go Howard."
"Becca please." He disknowledges her. I slowly look up at him in the eyes. "Please let's talk." He said. I stared at him emotionless. Peggy moved out of my way and I backed up and drove away to my house.
I went inside of my house and closed the door behind me. I walk over to the stairs and sit down in the second step resting my head against the wall. A tear slipped from my eye followed by another one while the other one did the same. I couldn't stop them they just slipped through my eye sockets. I few moments later I heard a cars pulling up in my drive way before hearing a knock on my door. I quickly clean my eyes from the tears.
"It's open." I yell and both Luca and peggy walk into my house. The look on their faces of pitty and worry makes my heart hurt a little more.
I cry in front of Peggy and Luca. They both just stand there looking at me.
Nobody is holding me this time.
