Chapter 2: The Stay at Joliata Tavern

Me and the boy arrived at Joliata Tavern at around 6:00 PM. I was scared at first, The tavern was made of dark black brick, actually most of the town was made of that same type of brick! When we entered the tavern though, my fear went away. There was a cozy fire and two staircases leading to the rooms. Before we checked in the boy revealed his name was Chad Redbeck and I said my name was Keira Robinson, which it is anyways. The dwarf at the counter checked us into our rooms and there were as cozy as the entry room. A burning fire that was constantly changing colors sat in the fireplace and the sheets were made of a soft but warm wool. But I recognized that some one the mantle was familiar. French Style Yogurt, My Favorite Flavor of French Style Yogurt. I walked up to make sure it wasn't an illusion, then grabbed it, But just as I was about to open the container... 

Poof! It disappeared. I looked around, wondering where it went- But another thing caught my mind. Another bottle of Green Apple Remedy at the beside table! How did I not see it before? I grabbed it but again- Poof. It was gone. "Chad!" I shouted "Stop playing tricks with my mind!" Chad laughs as he knows I've already realized his illusions. "Anyways how do you kn--" I was about to ask him how he knew I liked French Style Yogurt but I realized that he had read my own mind! This world has so many possibilities, I don't want to leave at all! But I wanted to get back to my family and my friends- How could I decide which universe to stay in. But then I realized it, "Chad?" I asked somewhat nervous about what his response will be "Would you like to-" "Go back to your home realm?" finishes Chad. He read my mind! Again! "Exactly." I said. "Of course I would! You could show me around! Take me to a regular school! I've always wanted to go to another Universe!" Shouts Chad "But wouldn't your parents disapprove?" I ask- I want to know what's best for Chad, and make the right decision. "My Parents abandoned me when I was 6." Says Chad "They'll regret it" "Why?" I ask. "Well, the Truth is- I've hired one of those 'Hit Werewolves' they're supposed to kill anybody that they've been hired to kill at the Full Moon. I want to create the portal right as the Full Moon comes this month." Chad Responds "But this is why I need somebody to stand with me!" "I'm sleepy" I say as a good excuse to forget this moment "Fine then." says Chad "I've got Caramel Bread for Breakfast!" I quickly pull up the Wool Blanket to my chest and get myself comfortable on the silk pillows, That are so white that even my light blonde hair stands out. "Chad, Save me a slice of that bread" I say before falling asleep
