( TRIGGER WARNING - Theres a lot of Blxxd)
Chad twisted his head toward me, giving a shrug and replying with the fateful "There is no Hope"
I smiled, before shouting the answer as if it was a command to the large doors that stood before us.
"Nothing!"
The Obsidian Skull Doorknob twisted and unlocked the passageway to our destiny with a faint click.
Or so we thought...
In reality a table stood before us, with a trapdoor below it and again another riddle, this one escribed into the table-
You see a boat filled with people. It has not sunk, but when you look again you don't see a single person on the boat. Why?
I dusted my pants off, I didn't know about some things in Antion, but I sure knew how to crack this riddle as if it were an egg.
Alyssa sighed again, Her boastful smile was gone.
I smiled though, I felt sorry for Alyssa as I shouted the answer
"All the people on the boat are married!"
Chad looked at me with disbelief. Thomas stared at the table, which had fallen through the trap door and Alyssa stared at the dark wall.
"I guess we jump in now" Said Chad.
As we jumped we heard the splash of water and an echo of singing voices.
We landed on the table, which had flipped upside down.
Sailing on a dark lake in the middle of a cave, the flickering flashes of golden in the stone shined upon the water, which seemed to beckon me to jump in.
My head turned as I heard a scream, a splash and another scream. A glint in the water beckoned me that something was wrong- I realized it quickly.
"ALYSSA!" I shouted before head diving into the dark abyss of water, I heard the splashes of Chad and Thomas behind me. The water swirled red around me. I could see the shadowy figure of Alyssa Infront of me, blood swirled in the dark waters. I continued to swim deeper down. I could hear the others swimming behind me, I glanced back to see them following me.
I focused back on Alyssa, but in a second bubbles had crowded my vision and before I knew I was sinking...
Down....
Down....
Down....
I grasped at the water and tried to swim up, before I held onto something.
But with a crack like a whip it had broken and again
My eyes opened to dry crisp air, my feet felt the cold water from the cavern.
But to my shock,a grizzly stench wafted to my nose.
The smell of old socks and burnt moldy cheese, of bad breath and ash, with a hint of smoke.
The familiar stench of something I did not want to smell again.
I was racing through my memories to try to remember where it came from-
That's when I screamed.
"ALYSSA! WE NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE!"
