We stopped, Chad climbed a tree to see where we were. "Looks like only a few Hours before we arrive at Magi Academy. We should rest for now" He said, before jumping down from the tree.
I was exhausted. Quickly opening my Backpack I hadn't opened for ages I brought out a Bottle of Spring Water. After I chugged it down, Chad said "When we get to Magi Academy we're going to have to do a test." "What type? Physical? Emotional? Math?" I ask, before Chugging another bottle. "A Survival Test." Said Chad, My skin turns pale and my bones are chilled "Survival?"
"Exactly. Survival. We need to get there, quick!" Says Chad, "Why Qui---" I was about to ask when I hear the dreadful noises again.
Flap, Flap.
The Ippa was back. It probably noticed us too. I grabbed my Backpack and then we began to run.
Flap, Flap, Flap, Flap. The Ippa was definitely after us.
CAW! The Ippa screeched. "AFTER THEM!" Shouted Roman.
Yup- It saw us.
Me and Chad began jumping over rocks, Tripping on roots, Nearly being caught by the Ippa, Almost landing Face First into a pit of mud, Striding in weird positions to avoid the Ippa and some very large roots.
Thats when...
WAM! The Ippa crashed into a large tree, I stared back and began to run, Grabbing Chad's Hand before he had time to kill the Ippa.
"GET EM BOY!" Commanded Roman, The Ippa began dashing after us like a Roadrunner. It was super freaky and super weird, As Roman kept falling off. Roman fell off one final time before the Ippa began coming Closer. He tried to Catch up and we tried to run. "KEIRA!" Shouted Chad "HOP ON THE IPPA!" I was shocked, Chad's decision was not only Stupid, but downright Insane! Thats when the Ippa charged toward me.
I grabbed the wing before getting myself atop of the Beast. Chad was grasping onto the Wing, As the Ippa still believed we were running on the ground. I tighted myself into a saddling position and reached out my hand for Chad to seize.
Chad saddled in front of me and took Control of the Ippa. I watched for any oncoming threats, Seems like Roman had fallen behind, Thats when I turned behind me.
Gripping on with a Dagger into the Ippa's tail was Roman.
