Chapter 1: The Dark Deal

There was a shimmering golden Pathway leading to a small town where I had been transported, the town was surrounded by the most beautiful forest I'd ever seen, The trees were a shiny emerald and there bark was as brown as Chocolate. I had the thought of licking one but I was held back by the town, maybe somebody could tell me where I was. I took a look around as I stepped into this beautiful village and began to look for any hints at where I was. No such luck. The food at the shops looked delicious though, I decided to enter a fruit market to see what they sold- Everything was shiny. Although my mind was taken off that from seeing something that looked so interesting- and mysterious. It was labeled: GREEN APPLE REMEDY - CERTIFIED BY THE HEALTH COUNCIL FOR THE MAGICAL COMMUNITY. Magical? I flipped it over to see what it did, and I was surprised by what I saw, HEALS AND TREATS:

Vampire Bites, Lycanthropy, Murder Bee Stings, Skin Rotting, Lich Infection, Zombie Bites, Full Moon Transformations and many other magical ailments!

Whoa, I had to be careful in this world. "I should probably buy some of these" I said but my eyes glimmered at a sign above the remedies GET YOUR FIRST 5 FREE "Yes!" I shouted, rather loudly. But the problem was, I had no bags on me. So I quickly looked around, hoping I could find one. No luck, Until I tried to grab all 5 Bottles of that remedy, I failed Miserably at Carrying them to what looked like a counter where people where purchasing their food and medicine. A elderly lady came over to me and asked if I needed help,  I responded with a quick "Yes please!" and the lady summoned a small bag out of thin air for me! Whoa, That was weird. I began putting my remedies into the bag and I was able to take them out of the store without paying anything. I felt like I was in one of those Fairy-Tales that I used to read when I was little. But suddenly I was pulled back by somebody, "Hello" I heard a voice say. I was scared and turned around to notice a brown haired boy about my age, "W-W-What do you want?!?" I asked scared "You traveled through the portal from another universe didn't you?" He asks me "Y-Yes" I said still frightened "I can help you get back to your own Universe." He says "You can?" I ask. The boy nods, then he tells me that I have to do whatever he says, and he will create a replica of the portal to get me back home. But could I trust this boy? I had no idea what he'd make me do. But I moved on with me thoughts and began to think: Why don't I make the replica of the portal? But I seemed to know why, I didn't have magic. I came from a Mundane Realm, Well I thought maybe I can learn magic. After all my mother always kept that pack of Tarot Cards in her office, But that was in a entirely different universe. I sat on a bench waiting for that boy to come back and soon enough he did with a large package of bread and a smile on his face "I've secured a room at the Tavern in Joliata." "The Tavern in where?" I ask with surprise "Joliata!" the boy shouts then he grabs my hand and runs toward the forest, dragging me along.
