I woke up early in the day to see Chad and Roman packed up and ready to take a long hike "Where are we going?" I ask "To the Moongrass Farm!" Shouts Roman "If you don't know its where Chad works on the full moon" "Yea, There was a Werewolf Attack last week- I was terrified when that happened." Chad responds. Roman laughs "But wait, Full moons only happen once a month!" I say "Not in Antion!" says Roman "C'mon guys lets go. Chad has to get his pay for last week." All three of us start walking northwards, we stop about 4 times before arriving at the Moongrass Farm.
I exhaustedly collapse and when I get up, Chad and Roman are already a few steps ahead of me! I scream for them to wait up and eventually reach them. We continue back to camp where the sun is shining on the emerald green grass, I still feel like I'm in a Fairytale- My own Fairytale. "We should gather resources for tonight" Chad says
"Then tomorrow we'll pack up at stay at Joliata Tavern." "Again?" I ask but Chad and Roman already are ahead of me. We marched through the emerald forest and to a dry beach, The waves were crystal clear but the grass was dry and rough, Sometimes there would be a small patch of cherries with these grasses.
I washed each one in the beautiful clear water, "Hey Chad!" I shout from across the beach "Why don't we move our tent here?" "Good idea Keira!" Shouts Chad "Roman! Move the tent over here!" Roman runs back up the sandy slope into the forest.
Chad's POV:
Its hard to do this, my life is impossible. I'm not sure if I should tell Keira who I really am- Because I'm not just Chad Redbeck- I'm the boy who's thoughts haunt him for the rest of his life, The one who seems to never give up, The one with Torment in his past.
I tossed Keira the cherries from across the beach, I watched as her Blonde Hair flowed in the wind, like the waves lapping against the shoreline.
But a large wave ruins this perfect moment "KEIRA WATCH OUT!" The words slip from my thoughts but too late- The waves have already soaked her and her hair is now plastered to her head until it dries.
Most fortunately I brought my survival kit, It contains a Pocket Knife, Bandages and a towel. I take out the towel and dry Keira's hair "Thanks Chad." She responds.
But the magic hidden inside of the towel makes it flow in the wind like it once did again, I go back to picking cherries and throwing them across the beach to Keira. Watching her hair flow in the wind wasn't going to stop me- until...
"Hey Chad! I've got the tent!" I turned around to see Roman standing behind me with the tent. "Great. Set it up over there!" I shout and I create small black lines so Roman knows where to put it "Did you bring everything else?" I ask "Of course!" Says Roman while he sets up the tent. I pick Cherries and watch Keira until the sun sets and night falls over Antion.
Keira's POV:
I see Roman return and set up the tent and Chad light the fire, smoke fumes over the beach as I head into the tent and give Chad the cherries.
I set the small beds neatly and check to see if Dinner is ready. But before that I notice something, and I'm always the first to notice something.
Somebody is walking toward us- Or something. I hide inside incase its Dangerous, Its getting closer to the tent and I hear a voice, and its Chad's
"KEIRA HELP!"
I quickly burst out of the tent and notice Chad, laying on the ground- "CHAD!" I shout but then I see it- a huge Scorpion on two legs running away, I quickly find a Seashell and Attach it to a tree branch, Throwing my handmade spear across the beach hitting the Scorpion in the back- a Scream of Agony and the Scorpion falls. Dead.
"Where's Roman?" I ask "He ran away when he saw the Scorpion" Says Chad, Although weakly. I grab a Seashell and Squeeze Chad's would, Poison and a bit of blood rush out- His face is returned to its normal color and his breathing became relaxed, Roman returned to make sure his friend was alright and we began to enjoy Wild Cherry Tea and Grass Rolls, Grass Rolls were disgusting since they're made of grass but they remind me of Sushi.
