Chapter 14: Running With The Wolves

(Note: This Chapter is Extremely long)

"WAIT ROMANOVA!" I shout, Realizing Romanova never taught me anything. Thats when I notice that my wands it pointing toward the sky, I look up. "Keira, I cannot see Sunlight or otherwise the Mythic Dawn will find me. I'll see you tomorrow night." Romanova's voice says, and stars are moved to make those words. Then that terrible flapping, The Ippa was coming back. I see it, Emblazoned against the setting moon. It turns its giant head toward me, Then starts flying. "Hocus Pocus Jiggery Zap!" I shout and a beam of light shoots from my wand, That was actually a real spell. The Ippa does a small dance in the air and then comes back to hunting me, Now I do the most needed thing- Flee. Dashing over logs to avoid the sound of the Ippa's flapping wings, Splashing through rivers. Thats when I see it, I see its hideous face above the trees. Still Pursuing me. I dash until again I see something, King Grogan Thump's castle. The Sun is Rising and I splash through the River surronding the amazing castle. Maybe I would see those dancers again. I opened (Rather Forcefully) the doors which slammed behind me, King Grogan Thump was snoozing on his throne, rather vulnerable. But he opened one sleepy eye "Mage?" He said "Yes King. Its me" I responded "Do you know about The Ippa?" "The Ippa?" Said the King, opening his tired eyes in worry "Is it dead? Is it here?" "Its here." I said Bravely "It knows that I don't have Magic." King Grogan looked at me with shock "A Human?" He said "From Earth?" "Yes." I said Nodding, "KEIRA!" I hear a shout from behind me, I turn around and see Chad "Chad, What are you doing here?" I ask, confused. "Looking for you." Says Chad. 

I stare at him "Now what were you going to say?" I turn to King Grogan. "People, People from Earth don't belong here. We're a land of the Rainbows, the only safe haven for them." King Grogan responds firmly. "You mean the Lgbtq+ People? I'm not Homophobic your majesty." I say, Kindly. "Lies." King Grogan scoffs "Guards. Tame this Ippa and use it to go after these three." Roman turns to me "Are you seriously not Homophobic? Is Earth full of Homophobia?" he says, shakily "I'd never insult a single Lgbtq person in my life and sadly, I'm pretty sure Earth is." I respond firmly. Before staring back at the King, Thats when I notice something. His Robes. My mind flashes back to when the Mythic Dawn ambushed us and Throg. Those were the Mythic Dawn's robes. 

"TRAITOR!" I scream, the King looks at me and laughs. But before I know it, The Ippa busts the door to a million pieces. "GET THEM!" Screams the King and 10 Mythic Dawn members appear around us, "Man they sure like troops of 10." says Chad, rolling his eyes. The Hideous Ippa stares at us with its Yellow-Brown eyes and its distorted jaw posed to attack. There's no escape. But before I know it I hear a strange galloping, then a rattling noise. Before I know it something white soars over the Ippa.

Its a horse, not just any horse.  A Skeleton Horse. With Romanova riding on it, "Come my Darlings." Romanova says in her mystical voice. The Ippa notices this and hurls a giant ball of gunk from its cavernous crooked mouth. But Romanova and us had already taken off into the forest. 

I could hear the Ippa's beating wings, Closing my eyes ready for my fate. I heard its jaws snapping and then... "CHAD, ROMAN, KEIRA GET OFF" Shouted Romanova, I felt the Skeleton Horse take a jolting turn and then 3 loud thumps. I let go, my wrist was hurting. I was sure that it was broken, before I felt my body being dragged. I opened my eyes, I was surrounded by my friends. I felt around me with my hands, lots and lots of dust. "Where are we?" I asked. Chad sniffed the air "An abandoned house it seems." He says before helping me get up. My wrist and most of my arm was bandaged "Chad, Tonights the full moon." I remind him. "Oh yea, we've got 5 hours though, Its only 3PM." Chad blandly responds.  "3PM? How long was I asleep?" I ask. "We had to drag you along with us because you fell asleep." Piped up Roman. "I attached my Bandage to your and tied the rest to my wrist. See I broke mine too." Chad sadly said "And that's my spellcasting hand."

Romanova looked a Chad, Then Roman and Finally me. "Do you want to know how Antion was created?" She asks. I nod, Chad nods, Roman nods but then says "I've heard the story before." 

"Once upon a time..." Begins Romanova "There was the small and barren world of Antion, Until one day, a small piece of light appeared. The beings of the first Human here, Or- should I say Mage, was created. He was given a clothing made of strong wool, never ending bravery and most importantly, a staff made of the branches of the first tree. The gods gave him Immortality, and the power of the Life Force." I blinked, Romanova gave a small look at the sky above the old house. "They named him Throg." Me, Roman and Chad each looked at each other, "My mom never told me about their names!" Said Roman, suprised "And we met the first Human ever made in Antion." Chad sighs with sorrow. "Then they created another Mage, and named this one Aluxio. The gods gave him the power of shining light, he created the light that shines onto Antion from the great shrine. The gods also gave him immortality." "And where can we find the Shining Light?" I ask "I presume we'd need it for the portal." "Well" Says Chad "We need an entity of light to construct the portal" "Back to the story" Says Romanova "And then... They created a third Mage, this one a female. The gods named her Zephyr and gave her the power of the Nature, then gave her a twig from the Godly Zuka-Zuka tree. Finally the gods made another female, Gave her the power of extreme intelligence and care. But as she got wiser the gods gave her the power of Future Sight. Her name..." But as Romanova was about to reveal the fourth person's name the terrible flapping of the Ippa's wings sounded again. But as we saw its Shadow fly over us Chad said "I have to go" Before leaving the house.

Romanova sighs "Well Keira, I must teach you now." I remember about Romanova's lessons "Mr. Roman, Please leave." Says Romanova "Oh Sure, I'll go back home. Bye!" And Roman leaves. "Anyways" Says Romanova "Its fairly simple, Repeat this Incantation with me. Mutare Alpha, Then think of being a wolf" "Mutare Alpha, Mutare Alpha, Mutare Alpha, Mutare Alpha" I mutter. It starts echoing inside my head, I feel myself getting shorter. I'm transforming. My eyes open and the darkness of the sky is like the sun. "You did it, Now think of Transforming back into a human, quick!" Romanova shouts. I focus on transforming back, I feel it and I open my eyes. The sky is dark again.

I quickly fall asleep to a tune Romanova sings to me, and when I wake up I see Chad and Roman surrounding me. "We have to go, Now" Says Chad.

"What? Why? Where's the Mythic Dawn? I know how to-" I respond, gasping for air. "We'll all transform into Wolves, then we run to the Kirt Mountains." Says Roman, His voice sounded very demanding. I knew something bad was going to happen.

Thats when I heard it, Flapping Wings. The Ippa was coming. I heard a large clatter, It had landed on the roof. It saw me. It gave a large CAW, and then went back to flying. I nodded and transformed, Chad and Roman did the same. Rushing from the old house we began to run toward a large snow covered mountain in the distance.

Thats when I happened to see something, Another flash of white dashing past me.
