That Blue Fire

Chapter 16: Truths, Flames, and Betrayal

I had to rescue Chad. I had to. "Pfft, Mundane. You know there's dark forces amongst these lands, You never knew I was one of them did you?" Roman snickers. "You-" I stammer, Before thinking of something, I could ask a spell. I just didn't know any. I gathered my courage, I trusted Roman and he betrayed me. "Uh- HOCUS POCUS BIBBITY BOPPITY" I shout, going for something out of a Fantasy book I'd read. Nothing Happens. I knew that spell wouldn't work.

"Your defenseless against me." Says Roman, rolling his eyes. "In fact maybe it should have been you instead of Chad." Chad lets out another bellowing scream. That's when something happens, Large wires of blue cover my body. They send a soothing signal into my brain and then. A flash of Green. A spell was cast. 

I turn to my side, Romanova's beside me. "I knew you were no good."  She says, looking into Roman's fearful eyes. "Keira, You know what to do" Romanova hands me a rope. "NO!" Shouts Roman "Reculi Avakerdo!" A misty haze emits from his wand. "Deactivated" Says Romanova. "W-W- What? NO!" Says Roman staring at his wand "No... No... No... THIS CAN'T BE REAL" Roman's blonde hair ripples in the wind as he starts crying. "I surrender..." He stammers "I guess your too Powerful for The Mythic Dawn... But I will return..."

Roman slowly turned into a Flying Black Cloak, Disappearing into the sky. I blinked, "He-" I whispered. But Chad let out another scream. He was still trapped on top of the tower. 

I focused my eyes, Staring to the top of the tower. Swinging my Rope as a Lasso, Thats when a golden knife with purple engravings runs across the sky and slices the rope in half.

Roman is still there. Despite his disappearance, His eyes flash a blood red. "I need no wand no more. The Mythic Dawn has given me the most precious gift. THE BLADE OF AURORION!" Roman raises his hand and catches the blade as it returns to him like a Boomerang. 

Its all over now. I know it is. I'll be dead, Romanova will be dead and Chad- Well I don't know what will happen to Chad, But I'm sure its worse than being dead. Roman slashed the Blade of Aurorion at us, creating Blue Flames. Thats when I saw it.

The Blue Flames began floating toward me, All heading toward my heart. I thought I'd be dead. Then I heard voices...

Free... Be Free...

Destroy... Destruction...

Justice... JUSTICE!

"JUSTICE" I shouted, Everything swirls around me. A complete cloud of Blue Flame. I could hear voices, Shouts, Words I don't know of. Then I see something. A growing ball of Darkness, It consumes all the blue flames. Plastered against it are words. Just random ones though, Making no sense to me

Werewolf, Truth, Nightmares, Stone, Fountain, Life

These all Disappear

Evil, Love, Betrayal, Blade, Forest, Rune

I try to shout "WHAT DOES THIS MEAN!" But my shouts are muffled by Angry Echoes

Spirits, Alpha, Pack, Dahc

Now I was confused. DAHC? What would Dahc mean? But then one word appears

Justice

This word emits such a blinding light that I fall to the floor. The blue flames are no more. But I see the battleground now. Thats when Chad lets out a bellowing scream. 

I have to rescue him.
