Chapter 6: When Truth Meets Your Eyes

It all seems like a trick, a game, just to get my very own darn attention. I got prepared to leave the camp this morning, Chad still hadn't created any part of the portal- But he caught me. 

I quickly tried to act innocent when Chad responded that he had retrieved the spear from that Scorpion I killed last night and that he used the venom to create a even more deadly weapon. "Where's Roman?" I asked "He's hunting fish" Said Chad. I stepped out of the tent to see Roman far away from the tent with the spear, hunting fish. 

"I've made another one as well" Says Chad "You can go and collect Berries while we hunt fish." "Oh sure" I say, but I'm afraid. What if another Scorpion tries to kill Chad? I climbed up the sandy slope to the top where the grass was, I was able to watch over the entire beach this way.

 Picking up wild berries and Cherries while watching Chad. Roman stabbed something with his spear and had a hard time pulling it out. Chad came over and stabbed it too, I watched as they said Words I could not hear. They finally pull out a large eel, I watch as the drop the massive creature into the water. Why would Chad and Roman dump it into the water, That eel would make a Month's worth of food! I didn't ask why, because afterwards the two began sitting and pulling what looked like the guts of the eel out of it. 

Ewwwww, I suppressed my disgust for this as I continued to pick berries. Then I saw it- Mystically standing on the edge of the woods, Was a wolf. It wasn't just any wolf though- It had a beautiful purple gem on its forehead, I stayed silent as I watched it. 

It watched the waves lap against the sand- It paid no attention to me nor the others. Then it peacefully trotted into the forest. 

"THAT WAS THE MOST EPIC MOMENT OF MY LIFE!!!" I shouted, Chad and Roman turned around at my shout- Too bad they didn't see it. 

The two go back to pulling out the guts- Or whatever that stuff was, of that eel. Whatever they were making for dinner I was not gonna eat. I gathered some of the rough and dry grass, It was a bit thorny. I ripped it in Half and a clear watery liquid burst out of it. I licked the plant, The substance tasted disgusting so I dropped the grass and continued to pick the cherries. 

Sunset flew over Antion once more, I returned with Bundles of Cherries and found Chad and Roman cooking Bacon and, My stomach jolted- The Eel Guts. "Want some Serentti?" asks Roman excitedly "Um, No thank you" I respond. "Oh come on Keira! Its not that bad!" Says Chad, flipping the Eel Guts and Bacon like Pancakes. I look aside but Roman has already made a Sandwich "Here! Its a Sandwich! If you don't like Serentti. You'll like this!" He proceeds to give my the sandwich, Which I take a bite of. Its really good- But as I take a bite Chad and Roman start laughing, "What is so funny?" I ask before Chad responds "You just ate Serentti!" Well, being fooled into eating Serentti was worth it. It was greasy and a bit slippery, but it had Flavor and Moisture. What I was craving at the moment. I asked for more, Chad and Roman smiled "We knew you would like it."

 But I started to feel sleepy and head inside the tent for the night. I woke up with Chad and Roman discussing something- The Full Moon, It was tonight. Chad had to go to the Moongrass farm and- Who knows what Chaos would happen with Roman. I drank some Cherry Juice that the duo had provided me with, A small slice of Serentti as well. I picked more Cherries and squeezed them for Juice, I also added some fraudly 'Green Apple Remedy' for flavor. The mixture sparkled like Glitter, Chad and Roman had left at Sunset. Only Roman returned though, Chad was working at the Moongrass Farm now- Unless Roman had killed him on the way to there. I headed inside of the tent to be safe. I heard the crackling of the Fire, and then a Howl...
