Ever since One Direction won the X Factor I have been obsessed with the show.

After I saw Emblem 3's audition, I fell in love with them. I was going to their

first real performance. Ever. It was perfect,I didn't even have to pay for the

tickets. My older cousin works for the venue where the X Factor is held. I was

so excited! I started getting ready three hours before the show! I needed to

wear something casual, but pretty. My hair needed to be perfect too. I decided

to wear ripped boot cut jeans, a black shirt with the shoulders cut out, and my

black converse. I curled my dirty blonde hair but not so much. When I was done,

it had more of the beach look. I lived in Glendale, California. Since it was

only 20 minutes from Hollywood, where they film the show, I decided to walk

there. I was only 15 so I couldn't drive and I didn't want to bother my grandma.

About halfway through my walk it started to downpour. I didn't want to ruin my

hair so I ran to the nearest subway station. I sat in the last car all by

myself. I liked it that way. I wouldn't have to worry about any creeps, but just

to be sure, I laid my feet across the seats. Just as the subway started to move,

the one and only Keaton from Emblem3 walked in. No. It wasn't Keaton. He was too

normal to be Keaton and his hair was straighter. He sat across from me , despite

my feet. He flashed me a beautiful smile and said, "Hi." I just gave him the

death stare hoping he would get the hint and go away. This was not a time to be

flirting. "Ouch. The silent treatment," he said even though he was smiling. I

started to get up and go to another car when he grabbed me hand and said,

"Wait." "Don't touch me," I warned as I snatched my hand away. He stood in front

of me blocking the exit. "I'm Keaton," he said with his hand stuck out and a

smile on his face. Alright. This was getting weird. His name was Keaton and he

looked exactly like Keaton from Emblem3. Except for the hair. I figured he was

just another jealous boy pretending to be Keaton, hoping to get girls.

I knew this game and I wasn't going to play it. "Move," I practically growled.

"Hold on, baby. The subway isn't even stopped yet. Safety first." I rolled my

eyes at him and reluctantly waited for the screen to show my stop. When the

doors opened, I gave him a smug smile and jokingly said, "Is it safe to go now?"

He just smiled, shook his head, and moved aside. I hadn't even walked three feet

when I heard him call out, "Hey! What's your name?" I kept walking. I knew it.

He wasn't really Keaton. If he was, he would have gotten off at this stop to go

to the show. He should've been there by now anyways. Whatever. I wasn't going to

let anyone or anything ruin my night.

I looked up at the arena and took a breath before I walked in. I proudly showed

the security guard my ticket and watched all the girls stare at me with pure

hate as I walked to the front center row. Right where the judges were. Right

where Emblem3 would be looking. I was way early so I got to see all the

soundchecks. I sat through most of them just checking my phone.

Then I felt a hand push up my face and heard, "Hey beautiful.

Aren't you going to watch our soundcheck?" I looked up and was in a state of

pure shock. The boy from the subway was standing right in front of me. It really

was Keaton. I felt like such an idiot for not putting all the pieces together. I

couldn't even answer him. I felt my face turn bright red. Keaton smiled and

began his sound check. When he was done he came back over and asked how it was.

"Amazing," I stuttered. He laughed. His laugh was so adorable! I blushed. "I do

have to say the sound check was pretty amazing. Like you." I blushed even more

if that's possible. Keaton smiled. "So you're staying for the performance

right?" I nodded. "

" Ok good cause you're my good luck charm." I didn't even know what to say or

do. I blushed. Again. The lights dimmed and the show began. I did everything I

was supposed to. I clapped, laughed, and booed at all the right times. It was

getting towards the end of the show. Emblem 3 still hasn't performed. I was

getting more anxious by the minute. The last performance was introduced.

Finally, Emblem3 came onstage. I screamed as loud as I could. I danced and tried

to sing along as best as I could. During Keaton's solo, he came right up to me

and sang it.
