Alli's Perspective
"No," I said still pacing the floor. I saw Keaton fall back on the bed and let
out a sigh of relief. "But that's not the point!" I yelled. Keaton sat up and
pulled me onto his lap. "What's wrong?" He asked softly. "We need to be more
careful." "Of course," Keaton said kissing me. "And," I took a deep breath. Ugh
this was so awkward. "I need to go on birth control." "Whatever you need baby,"
Keaton nuzzled my neck. "I'm gonna go pick it up with CeCe." "Do you want me to
go?" Keaton asked. He was always so supportive. "No it's okay," I got up. Keaton
took my hand and brought me back downstairs to the front door, where CeCe was
waiting. "I love you," he said kissing my forehead. "I love you too."
Keaton's Perspective
I joined the boys back in the living room. They stopped talking immediately. Of
course it was about me. "Is everything okay?" Wesley asked carefully, as if I
might snap at him. "Yep," I said picking up the controller. "You sure?" Drew
asked. "Yeah," I said starting the game. I lost. I couldn't stop thinking about
how different our lives would be with a baby. No touring. No more nights out.
All my teenage years gone. Alli was right. We definitely needed to be a lot more
careful. I got up from the couch and walked outside to the beach.
