Sick

Alli's Perspective 

My eyes shot open from sharp pains in my stomach. "Shit" I muttered trying to 

get out of Keaton's grasp. "Where are you going?" Keaton asked. I completely 

ignored him trying not to run into any walls as I ran into the bathroom to throw 

up. 

*Keaton's Perspective*

I quickly got up and followed Alli to the bathroom to find her throwing up in 

the toilet. "Aw baby" I cooed rubbing her back and holding her hair up. Once she 

was finished she sat on her knees and pouted. "I feel like shit Keaton" she 

muttered clutching her stomach. "Do you want me to brush your teeth for you?" I 

asked helping her off of the ground. "No,I got it. But can you just get me some 

ginger ale?" She choaked out. "Sure,I'll be right back" I whispered kissing her 

on the forehead and walking downstairs into the kitchen. Nobody was awake 

considering it was 3 am. I got the ginger ale, a few pain killers and made my 

way back upstairs to find Alli hunched up in a ball on the bathroom floor. "Did 

you throw up again?" I asked sitting next to her. She simply nodded her head. It 

was hard for me to see her in this much pain, how could she have gotten so sick? 

I handed her the ginger ale and the pain killers,which she quickly gulped down. 

"Come on baby,lets go back to bed" I whispered tucking her hair behind her ear.

"It hurts to move" she croaked out still clutching her stomach. "What if I carry 

you?" I offered. Alli started gagging again,running to the toilet and throwing 

up again. "That's it baby,just let it all out" I whispered tying her hair up 

then rubbing small circles on her back. "Keaton" she choaked out grasping my 

hand. "I'm here Alli,I got you" I reassured her helping her up. Her fragile 

hands grasped her stomach from the pain. "Come lay down Alli" I whispered 

leading her back into the bedroom. "Keaton,it hurts." "I know it does baby,just 

lay down I promise it will feel better" I stated laying her down on her side of 

the bed. I crawled in next to her pulling the covers over us. "Can you turn the 

fan on?" Alli asked molding herself tightly into me. "Alli,it's dead in the 

middle of winter" I explained. "Im sweating Keaton,ugh please make the pain go 

away" she pleaded squeezing my hand with as much force as she possibly could. I 

rolled out of bed to turn the fan on when Alli stopped me. "No Keaton,it's cold" 

she stuttered not moving. She must feel absolutely horrible. "You need to try to 

get some sleep hun" I encouraged getting back into bed expecting Alli to 

cuddling into me,but she didn't. I pulled her curled up body towards mine and 

she groaned. "It hurts that much?" I asked her lightly rubbing her tummy. 

"It hurts a lot Keaton" she said completely in pain. "Let's just wait it out and 

if it still hurts I'll go downstairs to get you more ginger ale" I explained 

still rubbing lightly. She nodded her face completely in pain. I closed my eyes 

and slowly drifted off to sleep. 

*Later on in the day*

"Alli,everyone wants to see you" I said holding her tight. She was curled up in 

a ball on my lap. Since the first time that she had gotten up I've been up every 

hour because she would rush to the bathroom. "I look and feel like death Keaton" 

she whispered completely weak to do anything. "Then how come I get to see you?" 

I asked. "Because your my boyfriend" she said matter-a-factly. "And you look 

gorgeous as always" I whispered giving her light kisses on her shoulder. There 

was a soft knocking coming from the door. "Guys,can I come in?" Cece's sweet 

voice chimed. Alli shook her head no immediately. "Come on Alli,it's Cece" I 

pushed trying to convince her that it was okay to let people see her. "Fine" she 

croaked out. "Come in" I hollered as Alli shivered from my loudness. "Sorry 

baby" I whispered kissing her temple. "How are you sweetie?" Cece asked taking 

Alli in her arms. "She's been throwing up like crazy,she definitely has 

something" I spoke so Alli didn't have to. "Keats why don't you go eat,and 

freshen up or something. I got her" Cece offered and Alli immediately shook her 

head reaching for me.

"Come on Alli,he's been with you all morning. Let him just refresh himself" Cece 

said pushing her back. Alli flinched at the rough contact that Cece was giving 

her. "No,Keaton" she croaked reaching for me to take her. In all honesty I 

wanted to take her,but I really needed to take a shower and eat. "Alli,I'm just 

gonna shower quick and get something to eat. I promise ill be back soon" I 

explained feeling completely horrible about leaving her. "Nooo Keaton,please" 

she croaked out in pain trying to reach for me. I took her in my arms and hugged 

her tightly. "I'll be quick,I promise" I whispered in her ear before handing her 

back to Cece. As I was walking out I heard Alli's croaks trying to call my 

name,but I just quietly closed the door behind me.
