New York?
Keaton's Perspective
"So what did you wanna talk to me about," I said cheerily, holding hands with Alli. We were walking to a fast food place for lunch. "Um," Alli started. Oh God, I thought. "Alli, your not pregnant are you?" I blurted out. "No," she laughed, hitting me. I let out a sigh of relief. "Okay go on," I persisted. "Um Keaton. I got accepted to a college." I grew stiff, knowing that it was in New York. I didn't say anything. "And don't get mad at me because..." "I know Alli," my voice rose. "You really love that school, and your going to make it work and everything. It's fine. I don't want to even talk about it." I could feel my face growing red with anger. I didn't want her to leave me. Ever. "Keaton," she pulled me around to face her. She was biting back a smile. Something was up. "Wh what?" I stuttered, completely confused. "It's in California!" I picked her up and spun her around. She wasn't leaving me. I put her down and kissed her head. "What happened to New York?" I asked not even caring, but wanting to show some concern for her. Alli shook her head. "I never applied. I'd rather be with you than some stupid school all the way in New York." "Alli," I smiled. "What?" She asked innocently. Before I could finish, she ran off leading me with her grip on my hand. "Let's get food," she called over her shoulder. I laughed. She was too perfect.
Ali's Perspective
"So what are you going to do about the tour?" I asked carefully. "Just wait it out." "Oh," I sighed. I wasn't sure what else to say. There was an awkward silence as we ate our food. Keaton's phone buzzed breaking it. Keaton took it out of his pocket and groaned after reading the message. "What's wrong?" "I have to watch my little cousins tonight. I know we were supposed to go to a movie tonight but Wesley got out of it so now I have too. I'm sorry baby." "Keats, why are you so upset? It's fine," I laughed. "Really?" He was looking at me with those puppy dog eyes, pearing out from under his beanie. "Ugh. Am I going to have to say no to these little kids when they want to go to bed and they look at me like that?" I groaned. "Nope just me," Keaton chirped, leaning in across the table for a kiss.
